Z06 and gear ratios

Hey, I tried to change gear ratios on my Z06 both with TDU PE and TDU MT and values change, but it doesn't have any affect at all on my Z06 ingame. Does anybody know what's wrong with that?

 

I wanted to change them, because though values are good, speed on gears are fake, really. Real Z06 have veeeeeeeeery long gears (325 mph on 6th gear possible! :twisted: with enough power of course)

Hmmm...Thats very weird...You have that problem only with the Z06 ? I have changed all the Z06 but i never had a problem with the car...

I don't know, I haven't tried all cars. But with others, for example Gallardo, it works fine. I think it has something to do with the wrong gear ratios that it uses, but I don't know how to fix it. Have you tried change gear ratios in Z06?

Yeah..In fact , my Z06 its a bit tricked ... Its with the original ratios of the Tremec gearbox and it works fine. Mmm...Your Z06 its tuned?

did you touch the final gear?put it at around 3,43-4,10 depends want your tuning for drag,drifting,ETC

I kinda agree with you on this.. The acceleration on the Z06 is a little much. The gears are too small. :(

I don't want to tune it. I want to make it real.

 

Top speed should be:

 

1st gear - 61 mph

2nd - 91

3rd - 124

4th - 162

5th - 216

6th - 324 :O - that's over 500 kph

 

And yes, they are for sure in miles per hour. Z06 has THIS LONG gears.

The 2006 Z06 has a top speed of about 200MPH which is about 320KPH. So those values are MPH not KPH.

I'm not talking about practical top speed. I'm saying theoretically, if there would be enough power and no air drag. At 7000 RPM on 6th gear it should reach 324 mph.
