Deadzone with wheel

Hey.

 

So recently, I bought a new Logitech wheel (was only cheap, to get me started :p ) but I find it worse than a controller or indeed a keyboard with TDU. For some reason, when you turn the wheel, for the first few inches you turn it, nothing happens in TDU, then after that it starts turning. I've checked the settings, and the 'Deadzone' is set to 0%, so I have no idea how to fix this. :confused:

 

Any help is appreciated. :)

Try going into your Logitech profiler and messing around with those settings..

In TDU, hit Esc, Options, Controls, last tab. Adjust the Linearity setting.

Another thing to check is the rotation of the wheel. The G25 has up to 900 degrees of rotation, and if your not expecting that it can seem that you have a huge deadzone.

However, now i'm faced with another problem, when my wheel is centered, ingame the car is turning to one side still, which is very annoying when travelling at high speed. Is there anyway to fix this, or is it something to do with the wheel itself?

Adjust the linearity slider towards the right (75%) and the sensitivity towards the left (around 30%) in via Esc - Options - Controls - last tab and see if that makes any improvement.
