TDU freezes randomly

Hi guys

This started happening a while ago but just posting it now...during gameplay the game will just suddenly freeze. The sound does loop but then just cuts altogether.

I can exit the game by doing ctrl-alt-delete in Windows 7 and then going to task manager.

I have reinstalled the game to no change...

This happens between 30 seconds of playing the game and possibly up to 5-7 minutes.

they are migrating the servers currently. they should be done with it sometime on the 18th

re-install windows :D uninstall any mods you have, if that don't work, play another game :)

Well that sucks there must be another alternative...I don't understand why it's doing this but in any of my other racing games.

Try and follow these steps, it MAY help:

1) Un-install

2) Re-install

3) Test the game AS IS

4) Add patch 1.66

5) Carry on then when you install something and it crashes, it is that what you install that makes it crash.

Delete the Radial.cdb file (use TDU Modding Tools 1.15 to do so)

I think that did the trick! Played for about 45 minutes with no crashes!

Will see how it goes from here on...

EDIT: Actually it still does it...it takes a longer while to do it now but it will freeze. This time the sound doesn't loop when it freezes...

Ok well now it seems to do it when this happens: I click on "challenges" on the map, it proceeds to say "Connection lost" and right when I click on OK the game freezes.

Any ideas?

I do have a legit copy.
