Jermaine Pennant misplaces Porsche......for 6 months

Pennant, who has a collection of sports cars, abandoned the Porsche in Spain when he left Spanish club Real Zaragoza for a loan spell at Stoke City last August. When authorities contacted him about the situation last week, he told them he had forgotten he owned the vehicle.

Read it on Jalopnik. Someone pointed out in the comments that just because he's uber-wealthy doesn't make it something he should forget about. He calculated the 911 Turbo is about 4% of Pennant's income - not overwhelming, but the equivalent of the average adult misplacing several thousand dollars.
