Drifting

I like to drift on TDU, but i was just watching this vid of this guy that was doing awesome at it. He kept it going for the longest time. Can someone give me a few pointers on doing better with drifting?

First things first, drifting is far easier in Hardcore mode. :)

 

Aside from that, different cars have different handling preferences. But for most, the trick is to constantly adjust the steering. Whether you're using a keyboard or wheel, don't be afraid to turn into the drift if you feel it sliding out. A slide should work like the way celestial orbit does. A satellite circles a planet because it's constantly "falling." When you're drifting, you should be constantly "spinning," so don't be afraid to turn more into the drift.

 

Are you using a wheel or keyboard (or gamepad)?

Keep to TDU1 for drifting. TDU2 is almost impossible to drift on :(
