Problem with TDUPE 2.78, need link to stable version

Hi, i've got a problem with version 2.78 of TDUPE. It does not make any changes to the cars eventhough it looks like it has when i check, if that makes sense. So i've read alot about TDUPE, and alot of people say 2.5 is the only stable version, so has anyone got a download for that or a version they know for sure works? I can't seem to find one anywhere...:sulk:

I've got the same problem.

 

I change the settings in the Performance Editor, check in game --> still old values

 

What i tried :

 

Changing the loc. in the config to US, then to GE, and to CH..

 

No effects. :(

I solved my problem :

 

- Run as Administrator AND XP SP3 Compatibility mode!
