msn live on 360

aup guys im new to this forum so didnt really know where to put this lol seemd like a good place, i was just wondering, when i start my 360 up and go on live i try to get onto msn live messenger and it comes up with something along the lines of msn live not on a childs account and me being 16 this really sucks and just wonderd if anyone knew a way to by pass this.
