Major slowdowns in showrooms

I've been playing TDU for a week now, getting champ soon and finished both long races (mil's and tour)

The game ran flawlessly, uyntil now.

I experience major slowdowns when in showrooms, in the beginning everything is OK, but (usually when i try to pick a colour of the car) the game drops down to like 0,5 FPS. After buying/leaving, everything gets back to normal...

How much ram does your video card have?

Alt tab out and in. normally sorts it for me.

It has 256mb vRAM

 

Alt Tab helps when the game lags all the time, not during the weird slowdowns in showrooms...

 

Seems that it was a one-time problem, now it doesn't happen anymore, weird

I have the same problem but choose to ignore it and just get in and out of showrooms as quickly as possible. Waiting on the patch for a fixup.

Are you serious...? Most of todays even high-end cards still have got 256mb vRAM, and it can be compensated by adding more actual RAM...

 

I run oblivion on that config at almost max with no stuttering... and i think ob is more stressful for hardware

Yes I am serious; TDU requires a minimum of 256MB vRam, and a recommended of 512MB... That is until hopefully the patch will alter them slightly. And Oblivion isn't TDU :)

no thats not the problem, I have a card with 325mb of vram and I get the same problem

 

I know people with slower PCs that can run the game better then my pc can

 

the game is just buggy and needs performance fixes

The minimum is 512mb but I recommend 1gb to get it to run smoothly.
