How do i make a in-game account for PC?

after installing the game, in the menu page it'll ask you to create a profile. select online with the profile name of your choice and that'll be your gamespy id aswell.

because when I went to the gamespy homepage, the only way you can sign up for gamespy is paying... in euros

nah man. just make an online profile when starting a new game. doesn't cost a thing.

I've never had to pay a single penny / euro / cent for my gamespy ..... I've just used the in-game methods I think (as RB described)

Theres in short 3 versions of gamespy (if you will look at it like this for a few secs)

 

version 1: Gold:

 

You pay for this one, you get all the benefits of gamespy accounts, if you can call em benefits :) without the adverts/less adverts... for a monthly fee.

 

Version 2: Silver:

 

This is downloadable for free and pretty much for the most part does everything the gold version does, however you will be hit with adverts and spam left right and centre.

 

Version 3 - Bronze:

 

This version is kinda created to encourage game developers to use they service, by making it possible for "users" to create a temp gamespy account (INGAME) without registering for the actuall product, in return gamespy still get they name advertised and the business of course.
