Loads of New GTA IV Previews

I'll put it to you like this:

 

I'm a Microsoft fanboy (:D !) so:

 

I support HD DVD.

I support what ever console Microsoft releases.

I will buy a Zune as soon has or hell if they even decide they will bring the Ipod killer over here :D.

I hate Sony :D.

I will never buy a PS3 ever, I made the mistake of buying a PS2 after my Xbox and boy was I disappointed cough*GRAPHICS WERE CRAP*cough !!!.

 

So I can live without GT5, New Getaway, Blue Ray (Sucks !) and the pointless PS3 fanboyism :).

 

For a life of Microsoft, Xbox, HD DVD and the happiness of being a Microsoft fanboy (Gotta keep it real with the American companies i.e. GM :D !)

 

Besides Rockstar are on Microsoft's side now so I would expect to see another GTA with added content on the next Microsoft console before a PS4 (Stupid name !) release.

 

Shame HD DVD has lost the format war tho ... didn't you see all the stuff in the news recently from the CES show?

 

I didn't care which format won as having seen both there's no real difference (at least in what matters) and I haven't bought either format yet as I was waiting to see what won ... looks like it's Blueray as now all the main film studios apart from Universal and Paramount/Dreamworks (which is still rumoured to be sitting on the fence!) are blueray only or switching to blueray only soon!

Rockstar aren't on 360s side, they just started developing it for 360 first because PS3 wasn't finished yet and Microsoft were stupid enough to release the 360 too early.

 

I can't wait for this game though, it sucks it's coming out during the week though, but i might just fake a sicky for that week. That should keep me occupied until Killzone 2 and GT5 :D.

Nige your a muppet. The reason that Xbox is getting GTA IV at the same time as the playstation is due to a Sony balls up. I can't remember the exact reason but there was some sort of comunication breakdown or something at Sony and they didn't get back to Rockstar about the usual exclusive deal, where by they get GTA 6 months before Xbox, that they normally get so M$ jumped straight in there and waved some money about to get it at the same time as the Playstation.

 

Now if Rockstar where devoted to M$ like you say wouldn't they have give them an exclusive where by they have it 6 months before the playstation????

 

Also they wouldn't do that as that would be stabbing Sony in the back which they wouldn't do after everything Sony has done foir them. If it weren't for Sony allowing it on the Playstation it would've stayed PC based and would not be as big a game as it is now.

I am STILL unconvinced by this game!!! San Andreas has put me off - it is the only GTA I didn't care for. Well, until I got it on PC and could download replacement cars!

 

As for GTA IV, if it is out on PC it could persuade me to upgrade from this shed. I've seen more power from an OAP watching a porno. Not that I've witnessed that.

Its been said an hundred times that as part of Sony's deal with Rockstar, Rockstar cannot release GTAIV on the 360 before the PS3 due to financial implications but if I was head of Gaming at Microsoft I would have very kindly asked Bill Gates to put Rockstar up in the finest hotel in San Francisco (Microsoft is based in San Fran right ???????) and give them the money to cover the financial penalty by Sony :D.

Microsoft are dumb and obviously didn't look at the whole situation I mean because if Microsoft did cover the Sony fine, Microsoft could have advertised the 360 with endless of possibilities I mean would a DIE HARD GTA fan who had a PS3 wait an whole 6 months to play the game on the so called 'better console' I don't think so hell I would have brought a PS2 for GTA 3 but I was in school and had very little money so I didn't but if the money was there I would have.

 

On the whole Sony helping Rockstar out, do you honestly think if Sony didn't help Rockstar do you think Microsoft wouldn't have picked it up for an Xbox release ????????

 

 

Me thinks Microsoft would have picked it up straight away and hell the graphics would have been better.

In my opinion Rockstar are on Microsoft's side now only for the financial benefis but hey atleast we don't have to wait like an whole 12 months like the previous GTA games :D.
