TDU Mods : Turbo Gear Sound Mod

The GTR and XJ220 sound like they have Diverter Valves/Re-circulating Wastegate Valves on them, but it could just be the turbocharger phasing out.

New BOV sound mod:

 

This mod adds a blow off valve sound to TDU cars wich have turbos in real life. No gearbox replacement sounds or whatever, just a nice BOV sound when u release gass at high rpm's. The turbo humm has also been modified into a more high pitched humm. Here is the list of cars that have been modified:

Actually i just realised what you did... Not what i tough and you've done a big ..big mistake.

 

Let me make it..more obvious :

 

You replaced Off_high , of each car and added that Blow off sound , good idea ! But think a second.... Theese are LOOPS and a loop has to LOOP , sadly this will kill all the realistic idea :/

I never said it was perfect. What i did was lengthen the off high files and made em double length. Yes it will loop at times, more with some cars then others. This cant really be fixed unless the bnk files get repacked with different file sizes in the bnk.

 

Edit: in the new pack TDOBOVMODv4 I did repack the files to eliminate the issue as much as possible.

TDUBOVMODv4.2 made by -Killall-

As of TDUBOVMODv4 I've worked around a bug that was very obvious in TDUBOVMODv3 wich was repeating sound of the blow of valve at weird moments. The bug is still present but is véry hard to notice now. Some BOV's have been replaced by new ones. There's ATM about 6 different BOV sounds spread out over these cars. U might notice some small sound changes to certain cars aswell. Theres a small bonus added in this pack that hasn't anything to do with BOVs but u may like nontheless.

Last but not least.. BUGFREE RUF's Big thanks to PolloxdaBollox who made this all happen. We shared our work and this is the result of it. Hope u like it.

Only the cars in the list have a BOV sound (U may choose wich cars u want to have a BOV sound on). Any other car sound u replace with the one from my pack will in effect remove the BOV sound from that car.

Why put a BOV sound on the T440R?

 

It has no Turbo. Just a NA 4.2 litre straight six.

The TVR Typhon is not the T440R.

 

There were only 2 Typhons built IIRC. The T440R was the Tuscan R, and was the car that they used a Le Mans.

 

The T440R cost £75,000, the Typhon was significantly more.

 

I'm a complete TVR nut, anything I don't know about TVR isn't worth knowing.
