Its not TDU but Cod4 connection probelms

hey fellow gamers

 

Recently i have been having constant problems with CoD4 on LIVE. I've suddenly started getting Connection Interrupted SO much, probably a 10-15 second lag every 2-3 minutes :twisted:, even when im host on private matches.

 

 

I think it has to do with my Dad getting Windows Vista on his computer, as his computer is linked to the wireless router that my 360 connects to.

 

I used to have awesome connection and could host private matches up to around 16 people without lag. Im wondering is there something on my dads pc or my 360 that needs to be configured to let the 360 connect properly or something.

 

I use wireless internet at i think 56 MbP/S ( on my computer)

 

I never get "Disconnected from Xbox Live" if your wondering.

 

Help is greatly appreciated as my connection is starting to drive me up the wall.:mad:

Run the connection test from your Dashboard and see what your NAT says. It should say Open not Moderate and definitely not Strict!

just done that and it says moderate.

 

I can remember it used to say Open before dad got VIsta, could this be the problem? If yes, how can i change the settings? and thanks for replying.
