How to stop the R8's window from adopting road texture?

In the interior view (not exterior view), the R8's windows adopt the texture of whatever surface is below it. This makes it basically undrivable when driving through shadows and such, or darker roads, because the window become black.

 

I've tried replacing the "glass_i.2db" file with that of a car that doesn't have that problem, and it didn't work. Anyone have any tips? Thank you! :)

 

Edit: It also happens with the Veyron.

The window absorbs the texture of whatever is underneath it, as seen there. That garage, as you can see, is a checkerboard.
