if anyone is interested i would like to set up a little drift comp on the raceway....don't bring anythging class A, class D-B i find drift best, i think it's a good little idea, would be fun to recreate the D1 drift on the raceway, get some intense side by sides going etc...

 

anyone else wanna do it? if they do just reply here obviously :p

i wouldn't make it anything major, just some firendly competition...we could make it a weekly thing maybe?

 

but i doubt anyone will wanna do it in the first place :(

i will do some practice with you, i wanna get some in with somebody, get used to doing side by side :)

 

if enough people wanna do it i'll come up with some rules that are more refined :)

i have some rules for people that are interested, if you ACTUALLY wanna do it, leave your name and what you want to do, and i'll write it down to see how much interest we have. once the people have posted who want in, i think i'll leave it for about 3 or 4 days to gain interest, but if it looks promising, maybe make it sticky and have it as "drift of the week winner" comp like POTW etc :)

 

upto admins tho obviously.

 

we need at least 1 person to judge aswell, anybody who wants to do that can.

 

rules are:

cars:

 

anything not class A

 

Drifters:

 

get REALLY close without touching

try side by sides

you need a team mate, teams will be judged by the judge on:

 

style

drift angle

smoke

speed of entry

speed round the corner

 

who ever the judge thinks looks best, wins, i have a partner already, but leave your names here and i'll put them ina list, anyone interested can then pick partners etc, but we need atleast 1 judge...

 

Judges:

 

do not interfere, no touching of contestants and try keep a nice distance (30 yards maybe, so you can see what's happening without the danger of hitting anyone)

 

if connection is an issue (like you can only connect to 1 person) then the team mate at the back will film, send the vids to me, then they get uploaded to a youtube account and then viewed by the judge, the judge is welcome to film aswell if they want :)

 

 

PEOPLE INTERESTED...(list numbers will increase with interest, PM or reply in this thread if you're interested, go on MSN or Xfire, anything! the people on the list aren't all necassaraly on TDU:C either, i'm using thier in-game names.)

i think i'm gonna hold it mid-week, probly wednesday or something to see if it works, then if people wanna stick on it then i'll switch it to sunday's, because having a race/meeting on saturday is stupid imo...people forgot that people go out to town/with thier mates to parties etc on firday and saturday.
