Real Car Sounds or Extra Sound

Guys, Girls.

 

I have been playing TDU now since Beta, been through all the headaches and sillyness form Atari, actually I was the guy that wrote to the directors and created the upset which moved the patch and matters along much faster. In the game I am Ministry1000.

 

Recenty I have been monitoring the new cars, and what an amazing offering from such talented guys/girls who have created some classics and new models, thanks you for this, its very much appreciated and brings the game alive so much.

 

Question though?

 

Why all this focus on models, and not on sound?> Is anyone creative on the sound side, because i really enjoy the sound of a janspeed exaust and big bores, Would be great if someone would bring out some Rs2000, or RS mexico shells with big bore rally sound. yep, I can assume this will be hard to do, so totally understand, but is anyone working on this at the moment. If so maybe they could keep ,me updated or offer some guidence?

 

Looking forward to some old english classis, like Cortina, Quatro,. Mk1 Escorts, big wings, and some deep bassy bass cars sounds, you know with the big hairy overhead cams lol. Thanks, Ministry, oh yes, I do have sound pack 1,2 & 3 extreme, some ok, some are not!

I think it's lack of decent sounds to use.. I've tried my hand at sound mods before.

 

Much more decent pics compared to decent videos with cars hovering at the right note for long enough.

We have a Sound-pack which makes a lot of cars sound better. Try it.

Yeh I also have a sound pack with the best ones from this site and others :D. Its on the "Sound Mods" part of this forum and it's called (rather originally :P) "maroonstigjlr's sound mod pack". Try it out :D

 

I tried the V8 Vantage by getting clips off you tube and trying to stick them together. Shame is since they are always revving, its a pain. What you need for the mods is a constant 2 second long rev. So you have one for 2000rpm, 5000rpm and so on and thats how you do it.

The new Pagani Zonda Sound is outrageous,.and wonderful! Some great sounds here some realistic ones too, not sure about the F1 but 99% of them are briliant, I just can't get over how nice the Zonda and how aggressive the different tones are. n1.
