What anti virus ect.... you use???????

Thats the most retarded statement I've heard in a long time. How on earth can my computer be slower if it doesn't have a program on it???

 

And you are obviously ignoring the fact that my computer isn't slow at all, as I actually do have plenty of common sense. I have had one 'virus' in the past 2 years, and that took about 2 seconds to stop and remove - and even if I'd have left it, it wouldn't have done any damage anyway.

 

So smooth comeback there.

The thing is I don't know whether I have Viruses or not, but I consider the fact nothing to have changed to be a good sign. And I did run AVG once, and all it did was tell me Photoshop was a virus (its illegal, but only the code is...) and that it can't get rid of anything.

 

I use Windows Task Manager and msconfig a lot - look at anything I don't recognise and then stop it. Very simple to use, doesn't cost anything, and potentially works better than some antivirus softwares.

I use a greeat little bit of software to stop 99% of viruses...

 

It's called OSX ;)

 

On a serious note, for the free option, try Spybot search and destroy, a really good programme!
