Yes, that's my point. Jeremy was a presenter first and foremost so getting a proper replacement requires some thinking out of the box. 'We need someone who is good in front of the camera and loves cars, but can't drive them'

Sky will snap him (them) up, Murdoch will be rubbing his hands in glee at this whole situation. I'd like to see a BTCC driver replace Clarkson personally. Then again to truly replace Jeremy you can't have someone who knows how to drive a car properly.

It also looks like the producer didn't report it maybe for fear of who Clarkson was, I mean I know Clarkson was the one who brought it up and tried to apologise to the producer via text and such but it looks like Oisin was of the opinion he had already lost or would lose his job.

They only dropped Clarkson, not the show. In fact they want to renew it. Unless you mean of course Clarkson was all Top Gear was and is, then ok yeah, I see why you would think that.

Been reading some reviews on car websites and I have got to say if some of these people can be good in front of a camera then that second image is not true. :cool: Wish the facts from the investigation would come out so we can know if it's all over nothing, or if 1million+ people are idiots for signing that petition.

Yeah I got to see it, just. It was very cloudy in my area but thankfully the sun made some spots in the clouds where you could view the partial eclipse. Always enjoy seeing these things and watching the BBC's coverage via that plane was incredible, will be catching the programme later tonight to see more of it.

Chris Harris would remove the need for the Stig though. That's why he was brought in after all as none of the trio can really pull a proper fast lap.

They should see who is on the same level of Clarkson in the car mags and get them in for a screen test.

That was great! Congratulations to all involved as that was really well executed and put together for what is essentially just a bit of fun. You can tell so much effort was put into that and it must've been quite a task to get the shots lined up and timed correctly as well as you did.
