Sony and PD may look at how well Horizon does and decide to create their own freeroam driving game if they haven't already. I know I read that Kaz had thought about freeroam or open world elements in GT5 during it's development so who knows what he has in line for the future. If that does happen though then Atari will be sitting proudly chanting how they created that sub-genre but in actual fact most will be laughing at them for how they self-destructed their creation and allowed others to grab all the glory.

Haha that was a good point made at the end actually, Forza Horizon is going to replace TDU/TDU2 as the game Forza players will turn to after a good racing session. With Forza 2 and 3 a number threw on TDU and just drove around, however because of the disappointment of TDU2 in it's driving feeling these same people are now looking for something else to fill in that freeroam void they currently have and funnily enough it's going to be another Forza. So once they've finished doing laps and playing competitively online in Forza, they can then jump on and chill with mates in Horizon. Atari should be kicking themselves right now in letting something as big as Forza grab this playerbase as on all platforms there is a vast amount that want to do this, play one game and chill with another and for many racers TDU was that game!

I just watched the above video and I have to say it doesn't look that bad, would like to see a video with the newer higher powered cars though. Is it just me or does the 458 look a lot better than the other cars? Newer model perhaps?

So anyone bought it or getting it yet? Videos on youtube show somewhat of a PGR flair about the game, not sure how that would equate when removing the aids or selecting the handling mode that removes them should I say.

Niar is clearly in denial with himself as notice how many of his posts involve talking about homosexual matters so he uses these sort of "look at me" posts to get the attention he doesn't get elsewhere which is a shame as if you notice how much he clearly wants you to believe he has a "girl". Ignore him and the world is a better place and maybe just maybe he will truly start to accept himself for what he is and not be so angry or attention seeking once he has found his Mr Right. Also isn't his font and colour usage just darling!!!

I'm not 100% about this so don't quote me on it but I believe you need to run it unpacked in order to be able to access and overwrite the original files as they by default sit in an archive that can't be accessed with typical modding processes. An Xbox 360 wired controller should work with TDU2 but the game has been known to be quite annoying with what it works with and what it doesn't with different setups. You will probably have to configure the controller if it isn't recognised at first. It should also be noted that the Anti-cheat Measures that have been implemented recently make playing with an Unpacked game not an option right now so it's probably offline play only if you wish to use mods. Hi there, if you don't want your posts to be looked upon as being spam then it would be a good idea to post a lot more info about what the game is about and who would maybe enjoy it. Just posting along the lines of 'check out this game' and a link is the very essence of what constitutes as spam as you're not posting anything meaningful. I don't mind you posting about a game that is being worked on though if you are directly involved I would have preferred you contact us before posting but regardless at the moment your post is spam and unless you want to see it removed you would do well as to elaborate more about the game itself in your post. Sounds like it could do with a demo or at least allow different types of player to get some video footage up of how the game plays. If I could find the UK distributor I would ask for a copy and give an honest opinion on it, as who knows with it being SMS it might actually be not bad. :susp:
