It looks stopped to me, I mean look at the driver with their head down in despair at having to suffer from technical problems. :(

There is a new 'Various' prefix available for use now in the Media forum, for those of you who do want to share your stuff but don't want to separate it.

@Loek I agree, the position of the car in @mau92's shot is a good one but it doesn't adhere to the theme. Now if it was in front of a row of shops, a business or in a car park, it would be excellent. AC does have the new Highlands track, park your car in the built up area and you're golden! For inspiration I would take a look at the current What You Saw Recently thread we have. Ignore the auto show showroom shots, look more to the candids and those taken in multi-storey car parks. This is an awesome theme to let that inner-photographer out! :photo:

the crew 2 The Crew 2 {DT} - General Discussion Thread
Eudemon replied to TurboDuck's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Just to add some more to this , but do you remember when Eden Games changed their site header to that Lamborghini on some tropical road back in 2009? Probably not but I do, and it actually came to my mind when I saw the end of year tweet by TheCrewGame too. Could this be them hinting by a means they've used before? I know they must get tired of the constant TDU/2 and Eden references but it seems a bit coincidental no? :umm: tl;dr Lamborghini = sequel  -
Tell us what you love, hate and want changed or added!!
Eudemon replied to Eudemon's topic in General Discussion
Ah, I guess with 4K becoming ever popular this is something I will actually need to look at. -
I actually got it working on the test setup but it's a lot of effort for something so small. Not sure how it would play with future upgrades either. Plus I worry that things I am adding will not be doable with what I want to do in the future.

Very kind of you to do that to be fair. And no I am the supreme ruler and so my data only changes WHEN I WANT IT TO!!! :dsmug:

It's a step up from what was before but it's still going to look dated compared to its competitors. As you have said though, the game is know for it's remarkable handling and tyre physics so for many fans it won't matter much to them. Bringing in new racers however, is a different matter.

Hi there Marc, welcome to the :duck:. So, you like cars and video games eh? Well that is, as you rightly said, all you need to say I guess. Good choice for numero uno raceo gameo, I still rate the classic NFSs before any post-2000, but the original MW,definitely has a place in my heart. Drove many a mile in my blacked out 996 Porsche turbo. Thanks for joining and I hope to see you around the many topics we got here.

Are you using the same browser when this happens? Have you tried switching to another or more than one to see if the same thing happens in them?

[headline]the banner contest #91[/headline] http://turboduck.net/img/tbc/tbc.jpg[/img] It is the turn of a Ferrari 355 to grace our banner from tbc #90 as Loek's fantastic shot took the win. With a theme that was quite constrained in what could be done, it took some creative thinking and clever execution to have a valid entry and meant that there was some truly wonderful images submitted, not least, the winning shot. Theme: Parked up in the city eg: 'a stationary parked vehicle in an urban setting' (think an automotive shoot or a car spotting shot) Deadline: Sun 14th May, 2017 - Entries | TBD - Votes PRIZE The winning entry or entries will be posted up on our community forum banner and if large enough will also be put on our social channels too. (if multiple winners then images will be split between these as we see fit) RULES Stick to the implied theme (don't look for loopholes) - any being awkward for the sake of it will make you ineligible for entry Images must not exceed 5MB, and dimensions must be at least 1280x720. (please do not crop your pics to the banner dimensions) No post-production or editing of entry images except to crop or resize please, raw from the game is what we want - use the game settings to set up your image correctly The post that contains your entry image MUST! be labelled with 'ENTRY POST' (makes it clear what image you are going with & for us to find :p) If you change your mind on your entry image - DO NOT post updated images in later posts, edit and replace the previous image with the new one (up until thread is locked for Poll creation) Each entrant must also cast a vote - if you fail to vote, your entry will be disqualified from Poll results (those unable to vote are exempt from this) You cannot vote for yourself - instant disqualification if so Winner chooses the next theme, unless they won prior, in which case the runner up decides - if no pick within 24 hours then theme will be free-for-all Winner has 24 hours to create a new thread or can PM or reply in the current 'tbc' thread to have a staff member do so instead Winner must not try to sneak new rules in the new thread or alter existing rules - be clear on your theme to avoid this Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them are not eligible) (Please mention what game your screenshot is from if not obvious) Entering the competition with a TDU2 picture may result in suspension/ban of your account. Each contest is broken into an entries part and then a voting part, after which the winner(s) will be decided from the poll results A minimum of 10 entries is required in order to proceed to voting tl;dr: Entries MUST: be at LEAST 1280px in width & 720px in height, NOT have any editing done to them except for what the game allows, and NEEDS to have some form of 'entry post' text in the post with your entry image. If you enter then you HAVE TO vote! Good luck and remember you can use your Gallery space to host your entry. :bparty:

I think that's a bit unfair as look at Rocket League on PlayStation Plus. I get what you are saying and I am not comparing the games, only the method of getting them out there to players. And there is evidence that it does work as I have seen a good number of posts on their forums and reddit where people who did get it for nothing, enjoyed it and stuck around. Possibly bringing them on-board as a buyer if there is a sequel

Yeah sorry, I thought after I posted that it might freak you out but I left it to see what you would come up with in that scenario too. :cheeky:  So in a way I guess you are looking for shots that are akin to typical car spotting in London, Monaco, Dubai etc shots ?

Well then, what can we say about yesterday's meeting? A whole lot actually! For starters, I actually found the first BTCC race a bit boring and was worried that it would again turn into another follow-train type of race day but thankfully it didn't. Unfortunately it came about from a nasty crash and raised the question about how Thruxton should treat the run off and crashing capability of the edge of Church corner. And on that issue, I do agree with the drivers that there needs to be something less hard impact at it. However after the red flag this caused, the shortened race was full of much excitement and racing action. I mean that three-car wide run into the final chicane with Collard, Goff and Shedden was brilliant to watch and the fact it never resulted in carnage was astounding and a testament to those drivers. And it's always such fun to watch those such as Ingram, Austin, Turkington, Jordan and others absolutely thrashing their cars and putting in the passes. Amazingly, despite the already shortened lap amount the race was again red flagged after yet another off and even though it wasn't as bad as the first incident that caused the delay, the time it would take to recover the cars and have the race run with the extra safety-car laps, race control decided to end the race and this made Collard the winner after completing 6 laps before the race was flagged. It's a shame that happened, as the charge by Shedden was on and Ingram was making up the distance too and could have resulted in a crazy final lap if no more issues happened. And then we got to the end, the final BTCC race of the day and wow, this was a belter! Turkington easily won it of course but behind him a lot was happening and it was great to watch. The Subaru of Sutton was looking especially frisky and was showing where it was better, but also as Tim Harvey said during the commentary, the straight line speed of the car is lacking. I mean the Hondas are usually the ones that struggle to get away on the fast sections but here was Sutton having 2-3 car lengths put on him by the one ahead. I know there needs to be balancing but surely they should be able to work these things out if not before the season begins then shortly afterwards as it just makes it a shame when a car comes on strong and shows that it could have been a real contender, had it not been for the regulations or limits put on it. I do enjoy seeing Plato struggling with his mind, not a big fan of him. Got to give a special shout for the Ginetta Juniors. Those boys and girls sure know how to race and the way they do so could teach some of the old guard a thing or two. And there is no way I can forget to applaud the Clio Crash Cup [spoil] where because of the trying to catch up with the races, the race started while Steve Rider was introducing it, but before he had finished, it got red flagged LOL[/spoil]. The Clios is where a good number of future BTCC drivers come through and from what has been shown in the last few rounds, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some more to come in the next few years. Can't wait for the next one at Oulton Park in less than two weeks, as I am really enjoying this season so far. I wish there was more races as that summer break is a killer! Would be good to see maybe at least 2 extra venues from Wales and Northern Ireland added to make it a true British series.

Well memes are pictures so it works either or.

Ha, saw that one doing the rounds on twitter at the end of last week. Makes me wonder how much they got charged for that by the designer.

Yeah it never said sales as remember the game has been given away a few times. I think it was first on Xbox One with 'Games with Gold' then became available on that Ubi30 promotion for PC. (might have that backwards) Still 12 million sampling the game out is a good amount to have done so, as long as a few million of them are buyers of the game too of course. :p
