Yeah 8X and that looks no bad for it's price. Cheers for the headsup. Not on this machine, Work and Play stay away from another. Been burnt badly in the past doing that, lesson learned.

Due to a breach of the rules by 2 entrants Zurious takes the win for this weeks PoTW. We had a discussion about this especially after the first one and it was decided that Zero tolerance should be taken with any other offenders so as to send a clear message that none of this type of 'vote boosting' will be tolerated. Please know that minulescu did admit that one of the accounts was another of his so don't be too hard on anyone, just note that myself and others will always watch out for such behaviour and if you're caught then your entry will be removed and you will be disqualified from that weeks poll. Ironic thing is with these 2, without the extra voting by themselves they were still in a good fighting chance of winning. And please do not hound or belittle these people, they made a mistake, simple as that, if anything it should hopefully show others that the chances of getting away with it are slim to none. Play nice. :D Ouch coincidence that this evil ruling is my 4666th post? :shocked:

Turned off the PC early hours this morning, all was fine, switched it on around 11 today and nothing on screen, fans running, PSU fine, graphics card spinning away ok and HDD lighting up. So I'm thinking ok this has happened a few times before so mess with the graphics card and put it back in, again nothing. Oh no not my monitor so plug cable into old PC and it works so hmm not the monitor thankfully!! Hmm could be the graphics card so again tinker around, oh wait card is cold, damn it card's gone! No work for me but no wait this PC came with a dedicated card is it possible I have an onboard? Hmm look around, yippee there is ! I can continue working away but uhh it's pretty slow, hey it's better than nothing and I can keep working away and I have a deadline I have to meet and then I will worry about getting the system sorted. I don't game on it, I use it for web and graphics work so as long as it keeps ticking I'm happy. Surprisingly the card did me well, this PC isn't a powerhouse by no means and the card was only a 128Mb ATI Radeon Pro but hey it did the job for me and thankfully so is the onboard. Need to find me another card and some RAM by the look of it, don't need to upgrade as I love this PC, it's done a lot for me and I would hate to lose it but hey some new innards wouldn't hurt so more RAM and a new Card I can see in it's future. Hopefully ! Thread title btw relates to the fact I am crap at self discipline so I think someone is forcing me to get my act together which is actually much appreciated, better not push it though!

Even better make it the way it was meant to be, the Holden Monaro. As for the Diablo why not try the VT 6.0 as a difference to the GT that the 360 has. Just a thought!

This is the video that's been discussed many times, David Nadal says development of TDU2 is underway and is 1-2 years away, bare in mind he said this is an interview that was posted this February so 2009-2010 is a fair guess. It's on Dailymotion iirc.

Image displaying is now done via Highslide hence why you now have the nice little floating images and the ability to scroll through them using the left and right arrow keys as well as the ability to view the full size. Only issue with this is that link images are displayed with whatever image is being used to link them, this is why the thumbs only show as thumbs. HOWEVER there is a way round it, where you would normally do to use an image to link to something: [*url=http://www.url.com][*img]http://www.imgurl.com[*/img][*/url] You now will need to use IMGLINK. IE with the above example: [*url=http://www.url.com][*imglink]http://www.imgurl.com[*/imglink][*/url] This means the Highslide script ignores this image and links it normally. If it's more trouble than it's worth I'll get rid of it but for now what with the auto resizing and ease of use we'll trial it. I'll also be sure to add an image for this to the GUI and change the title text to Insert Inline image and Insert Linked Image respectively (if I can).

Try a Range Rover Sport or something if you want to do a 4x4. What about making the Enzo an FXX or the 612/575 into a 599. Could you make a police car, could you improve the ingame trafific etc... Many possibilities.

I got a question, rather than having big ass whale tails and such is it possible to simply lower the cars? How about debadging and such? It scares me the size of these tails being shown on these cars so much I'm having NFS panic attacks!! What happened to the sort of wings that the CLK-DTM has and such? I'll give you one thing though, you're very active in these mods BasBas.

Check out the Customised Gallardo on the website, it scares me of NFS but then there are screens showing a more classy looking version also so I have hope.

From what is known retractable wings and spoilers are included, there's a screenshot showing the Murcielago with it's side air intakes open iirc.

I'm waiting to see when the more clean and classy mods come out, at the moment it looks like NFS threw up a bit over TDU. F430 becomes Scuderia, LP640, LP560, making the CLS into a Brabus etc. Exciting times!
