It is taking so long due to the fact they want an effective and secure way to distribute it. As for all the problems, that can't be denied but there are dev interview videos on dailymotion showing them testing on several systems and with controllers and G25's and the game is running smooth. It's really annoying them the troubles people are having with certain configs. Also the internet problems are gamespy not Atari and they have been onto them about it. Not saying this excuses them but just realise they aren't just keeping it from you for the sake of it.

Note that's the price per pack which includes 6 premium cars + 1 free. I don't mind paying it for this game though as they model everything including the interior, windows, doors, engine (we'll not mention the F1 GT) etc so more work compared to what some companies do. However I wish they would get the sounds close and not mess up with the dials as that's just annoying. But yeah 6th pack is coming up for release for 360 so in GBP that's 6 x £3 say, that's £18 for 36 Premium cars (always 1 free in every pack), that's what £0.50 per car? That's not bad actually.

On Xbox 360 you need to purchase points in order to use them, you can't just put it on your card which is basically a nice easy way Microsoft to make a lot of money. Remember also that the price above probably includes the allowance of a fee for Microsoft for using their distribution service so you might find it could be slightly cheaper on PC if a viable and secure method of distribution could be found.

I will be getting the full game when I get my box back as Bizarre have done an outstanding job on this game especially with the bikes!! They have working instrument panels and the biker moves with the bike plus you can do some cool stunts something I would love to see TDU2 take onboard. The weather as well is a major selling point to me but what really makes me happy is the photomode in this game, it has not and probably will not be beaten on the Xbox 360 anyway for quality, sharpness and realism. This game could lure me off TDU ....only for a short time of course or at most till TDU2 hits us.

Top Gear is good but it's obviously scripted, I mean they have been to that road before!! They know all about it, and it's obvious that one of them would have the crap ripped outta them. Top Gear is all about entertainment and that's brilliant, I love it, but Fifth Gear is about the cars, I mean sure the Mini, Smart and crane dropping was just about bareable but it was informative which is handy if you're looking into buying a car. Top Gear is still the best yes I agree wholeheartedly to that, but watching Tiff and Jason battle it out so close to each other and hearing them talking about "flat-shifting" and also about how they knew and respected what each were doing on the track, just made me smile. Tbh it's mainly the Tiff and Jason sections that are most watchable for me.

Anyone but me actually really enjoy tonight's fifth gear, the production and banter was much better probably due to their being less of it plus they got rid of that old git and that smarmy arse who used to be in the Cafe with Vicki. The highlight was obviously Tiff and Jason in the Z4 and 350Z but I also enjoyed the Smart For Fun 2 as they really pointed out it's lack of speed and the Mini Clubman review was full of clever angles and camerawork. The usual bore sections were there too but even though I still rate Top Gear the best, Fifth Gear has become very enjoyable to watch now also.

Haha it's been a bit quiet regarding the DLC so I can only guess that it's away for certification recently or something like that. So lets have a little fun game, as you know my 360 is away to 3RLoD repair depot and I was told that it would be about 15-20 working days (ie 3-4 weeks) before I get it back so what do you think, what will arrive first? Diablo's Xbox 360 or Test Drive Collection #6 Choose wisely!
