  1. I'm going to tweak the display to be more eye-friendly and informative later on. I'm all over the place as a few things I was working on last week for this place have worked out well (:D) and I'm working on testing them and getting them on here before the end of the month AS WELL as trying to keep up with all the info coming from E3. It's why I'm so behind with the site, but I like where what I am working on is going.
  2. Evident to see they know a good selection is vital and are catering to every demographic of car muppet. Just hope they give us some decent sounds as the Mustang sounded a bit weak in the gameplay demo.
  3. The always-online thing does raise an eyebrow but then it goes down again when you consider what this game is, plus if we have learned anything from TDU and TDU2 client-side saves lead to hacking and cheating aplenty anyway. The no save at all when offline does irk me a little though surely they could save some of your progress then compare it to when you connect again, wouldn't even have to save your money just distance travelled and another inane data like that. Going to watch the video now.
  4. This could turn into quite a list so it may be an idea to list them under their manufacturers and keep a running total.
  5. Customisation would be perfect with me if it was just being able to lower/raise your vehicle and throw some new wheels on. TDU2 never learned that people wanted their cars to look unique and not only with stickers!
  6. There were some tdu oddities that showed during the demo but I'm attributing that to the fact it's still under development, this is going to be fun to watch. They've already shown they have some epic licenses!
  7. Ivory dev just confirmed cockpit view too, added it to original post. I know the video shows it but just for those people who haven't watched it closely. :)
  8. I loved the detail of this game and the sounds, the radio chatter was quite fluid and real too but maybe too much for a tactical team to be saying. That WATCH_DOGS engine is fair lending itself to some utter quality. Ubisoft are still up for a risk which is great to see.
  9. Say Hello to The Crew After what has been a looooooonnnggg period of watching, snooping and what could even be bordering on stalking, we finally have the answer to what Ivory Tower (Ivory) has been working on since they formed in 2007!! The studio which was setup by a number of former Eden Games (closed by Atari March 2013) employees who had worked on the original 'Test Drive Unlimited' (TDU) and 'V-Rally' games has been - annoyingly! - quietly working on their game for a number of years. Being massive TDU fans we have eagerly been following and tracing anything that their name was attributed or associated to especially when LinkedIn profiles were mentioning things like "working on a AAA title" and "preproduction for a MMO racing game". Back in 2009 there was mention of the game coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC but it looks like plans have changed and they and Ubisoft have decided that The Crew is prime for the next-generation of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One along with the PC. Developed with the help of Ubisoft Reflections (Driver SF) the game looks very ambitious in what it is doing and we can't wait to watch it grow and show more of itself up to it's release. The Crew is a massively-multiplayer online (MMO) game where you have believe it or not an environment that is a replica of the USA albeit a scaled down version, but still HUGE nonetheless. The persistent online nature of the game blurs the lines between single, multi and co-op play with players being surrounded by both real-world players and/or AI depending on how they are playing the game. Every mission and challenge is available in single or multiplayer, so say you are having trouble completing an event, invite your crew to help you and finally beat it. Cue; With a Little Help from My Friends! There are no lobbies or a need to stop either so inviting your friends to a free-roam driving session or to assist you is quick and easy with the real-time interface activated during gameplay. Real-life cars such as the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford F150 pickup, RUF 3400K, Lamborghini Aventador and more can be modded and upgraded in different ways from a high-performance street racer to a capable off-roader. It was said that you could "strip" your car down and then "build" it up as you want but at this time it's not known whether this means pre-determined modifications and stages, or if it is as customisable as being able to build your own uniquely individual example. There will also be a "companion app", these seem to be the next-gen thing with many games coming with them, allowing players to customise their games or interact with the game without actually being their to play it. The Crew is due in 2014 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The Crew Videos Reveal Trailer E3 Demo Gameplay
  10. Just added the reveal trailer to the original post, the trailer is not in-game though and you'll need to wait for the show footage to appear before seeing it.
  11. #girlwood yeah! :oook:
  12. BF4 looks sooo goood and Mirrors Edge 2 is also showing huge promise.
  13. Basketball Rapping 2014 looks good.
  14. Some of it was exaggerated like when the crew get together to perform a task so to speak near the end, and a lot of it is cinematic but the gradual progression from the start to the finish and the different scenarios it shows plus the zoom out shots make for a damn good reveal trailer. Don't want to say too much as it will take away from the actual showing.
  15. The conference only went relatively well because they never mentioned any of the DRM, Used Game method or elaborated on the power of the machine. It'll be a cold future if people lap up what MS does as it will show that yes, people will take it. Don't get me wrong I liked some of what they showed but they need to remove the anti-consumer features and functionality before I'll consider a Xbone.
  16. Same, I grabbed it off Vimeo but again will wait as they've been working on it ages and it's well worth seeing at the right time.
  17. That was brilliant, not going to say much about what it contained and I doubt it was in-game (maybe in-engine?) but the premise and the team-play did look quite good.
  18. The Official E3 WATCH_DOGS trailer.
  19. I'll be watching but reading how supportive Ubi are of MS's anti-consumer practices and DRM I'm not as hyped as I want to be.
  20. The reveal thread was about the reveal, this is a thread that encompasses all next-gen and the crap it may throw at us.
