  1. I'd get away from the Shift mentality if that's holding you back from what this title could be as EA basically told SMS to go that way, just look at their past history and videos of C.A.R.S to see what SMS can do when they are left to it. I'm excited for the fact of proper cockopits, head movement and of course sounds. It's one to watch for me but again Atari need to show what they are doing with TDU2 in regards to this. Also if TDF can have all these classic and great F cars, why can't TDU2? :hmmm:
  2. He did state this month so maybe we'll get a surprise for the start of December. :D
  3. Well TDF is a TEST DRIVE and not a TDU so maybe this is the plan. It certainly raises the question about what is going to happen with TDU2 and it's support though, that's something they will need to answer for sure.
  4. Your post was deleted because you broke the rules. Plenty of other people have mentioned their disbelief and anger at this news fine and no doubt will continue to do so.
  5. It's because it's SMS doing the work and physics, a number of those guys worked on the GTR series and had a very promising project in development called 'Ferrari Project' (FP). This is the reason a number of people are excited for this game as if just having TEST DRIVE in the name brings this beauty to us then bring it on. FP became the backbone of NFS Shift and of course Shift 2 however EA basically told them the direction to go with the handling and such so if Atari or whoever leave SMS to it then this could be a sweet racer indeed.
  6. Continue the discussion about this game here: [iurl=http://forum.tdu-central.com/threads/27023-Test-Drive-Ferrari]Test Drive: Ferrari[/iurl] Thanks.
  7. Well well well. What do we have here, as we already know a new Test Drive game dedicated to Ferrari has been hinted at since around the middle of the year when a listing for it was found on GameStop. Well now we have an announcement from a small publisher called bigben who appear to be publishing the title in certain regions of Europe, meaning that someone else will be taking over the rest and also that Atari are probably going to be doing the damage [not literally] in North America. Listings for the game are starting to appear on retail sites such as amazon, gamestop, newegg among others so keep an eye out for more in the future. With Slightly Mad Studios no doubt being the team behind this game and it basically being their ill-fated 'Ferrari Project' then believe it or not, this could be an absolute belter of a game and may be one of the few to actually cater to those who want a sim and those who want an easy casual racer. Let's hope Atari and others just leave SMS to it and don't EA the game like what happened with Shift. 8. Wow, never even knew that was possible. Thanks again!
  9. You should have got that money back as I sent it to you. Reason being you would basically be giving it to Paypal due to the fees.
  10. Fantastic work sir, you're fair churning these out which is good to see. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Just to get this section singing I thought I would ask of you all what games of Test Drive you have played in the past. Were you an Amiga Elitist (:cheeky:) or a PlayStation one? :D Myself I know I have played Test Drive 1, The Duel, and Test Drive 4/5/6. Never forget chasing supercars in that TVR police car that was a right handful to handle. Unfortunately NFS was brilliant at this time and really showed the floors (;) Baldy!) that the same period TD's suffered from.
  12. Sorry chief, but come on it will be worth it in the end. :ott:
  13. Once the poll is underway that option can't be changed as far as I know. Also it's remarkable how people were wondering :wtf: to this when I first mentioned it and now it's like WE MUST SEE BALDY ON THE TOILET!!!! +Hehe done via a manual database edit.
  14. I thought you were talking about as in officially but yeah Modding is now at the point where the much missed and wanted cars can now be put in replacing what we currently have. There are still some niggle and quirks in places but the mod tool specialists are definitely on the case trying to delve deeper and find what needs to be changed and how to do it.
  15. Virtually everyone knows the iconic guitar session with Marty in Back to the Future but did you know he recently recreated the moment at his New York Fund Raiser for Parkinsons Disease. LEGEND!!
  16. Nice work again. If there's something TDU2 needs, it's more Ferraris! :susp:  :D
  17. Meixy announced yesterday after her recent announcement last week about DLC2 coming s**n.... that the announcement for DLC2 is coming s**n. :hmmm:
  18. Not quite, that game has good points but they need to learn how to model the tracks much better.
  19. Maybe I can get B over here again as he's posting the goods again. WIP teaser image as he calls it Credit: BADNED This may need it's own section actually. lol :hmmm: YES! He edited the thread title at FC to say it is the 'Ferrari Project; aka THE REAL SHIFT. If he's reading this maybe he can clarify what the hell is going on with Atari in all of this and is it Europe only? :D Please B?!?!
