  1. I'm actually extending the entry period as there was less than 10 entries. Plus I'm busy with a few things that's taking my focus right now.
  2. So I guess what we have learned is, do not assume that common terms that are in popular culture and shown strongly in media in that guise are known to mean and represent what they say. Be clear and concise to avoid misrepresentation of what has been specified and make sure that it's evident so there can be no doubt as to what is being asked for. Should be easy. :cheeky:
  3. I added 'US' to remove the chance of further shenanigans. No, it does not. US Muscle in the sense of which is known by even the most car-illiterate moron only please.

  5. [headline]the banner contest #72[/headline] http://turboduck.net/img/tbc/tbc.jpg[/img] We had a new winner grace the banner in tbc #71, and that winner was RobikV3 with his fantastic shot from The Crew. With a very close fight resulting in a three-way tie right up until the last couple of days before the vote closed, the race was on between Need for Speed, The Crew and FM6 Apex. In the end it was The Crew who came out to take the win by just the 1 vote! Theme: US Muscle Cars / Pony Cars (Old & New!) Deadline: Sun 19th June, 2016 - Entries | TBD - Votes PRIZE The winning entry or entries will be posted up on our community forum banner and if large enough will also be put on our social channels too. 6. WE HAVE A NEW WINNER!! It was a close fought battle throughout the week's vote but one person managed to stick their nose out in front, and it is RobikV3 with his shot from The Crew, where he is just simply taking a moment from some off-roading to take in the view. Closely following behind and in joint second was Paladin Skylark with his ass shot from Need for Speed and Mr Softie with his delightfully-lit shot of a McLaren P1 from FM6 Apex. Taking the final podium slot was the fun entry by Ozzmcom of a Pontiac Aztek. Humiliating mention goes to The Compensator, whose shot of an Aston Martin running on a wet Top Gear track in FM6 Apex was the receiver of the dreaded 0 votes!! Unlucky there chump... we're sure better luck awaits you in future... maybe. :D
  7. Clearly he'd practised, as May would normally have to check every inch and possible way of assembly to find the best one before attempting to actually do it.
  8. Better episode this one, was worried at the start when Evans mentioned about more shouting but it seemed Matt took over more of the narrating and introductions than the previous week. The star interviews and voting with the audience parts are still diarrhoea but the actual main sequences was very watchable. Evans was still an arse in some of it, but not a huge amount and the cinematography plus the additional guests threw in more dialogue to thankfully take away from the chance at more of him anyway. It felt strangely like there were things being introduced to stop Evans being around in some form on our screens in fact. And that, was a good thing. :p
  9. Really scrappy final race and a shame for Shedden to get that puncture. Wanted to see what his high-speed inside lunge on Cook was like, but never got a replay to see if he was a bit too aggressive with the move. It's clear that Neal was creeping at the start and if Ingram's was a penalty then surely Neal should be the same. Again though never got to see much of the footage to compare but, he did definitely roll a tiny bit. The Subaru's are again looking mighty strong and Tordoff was a man on a mission and was rightly called the 'Driver of the Day'. Big well done to Collard too, he was a racer possessed and was fun to watch making his way through the pack. It wasn't the follow me train of last year but, there was still some of that and I would like to see more passing places on Oulton Park as it is such a fast and tough track, and if there was more opportunity to pass, I think it would make for one of the best races on the calendar. Croft is up next in two weeks. With the Scoobys not needing to have any weight due to their Championship position chances are they will front the grid and could take the first race, probably as a one-two. I'm certainly going to enjoy watching the RWD battle between BMW and Subaru in the remaining rounds.
  10. Nice 918, like the colour but the wheels seem bland. Is it wrapped?
  11. Well done Colin and Subaru on your first ever win in the #BTCC. So glad it was Turks and not Plato who took it but fair play to Plato on his 3rd place even though his pass on Lloyd was a bit more of a push out of the way than a racing manoeuvre. Great entertainment and brilliant driving from both Austin and Moffat as they were both sprinting round the track together at high speed with Austin eventually managing to put in the pass. Knowing the Scoobys are in this sort of contention after having to withdraw from the previous meeting at Thruxton is making me excited for the next set of races and meetings.
  12. @hassan: Nice shots matey, that Oakley Veyron looks not too bad imo, thought the side skirts are a bit :oook:. And that is a great plate on the Aventador too. @Myk: Looks like a wee wasp.
  13. What. You want the whole team to get fired for punching that wazzock?
  14. Still haven't watched Extra Gear, will need to fix that later today but I will be watching tomorrow and will just mute when Evans is on screen.
  15. It's certainly one of the better looking front-engined coupes on offer imo. A real mean looking son of a mare.
  16. The author is in the article itself, why does it need to be shown in the threads?
  17. We got a tight race here at the front, it's like watching the BTCC but with static text and colourful bars.
