    You've got a Test Drive Unlimited 2 game patch in front of you, which means you've got bored of "clean" version of this game or it isn't bright enough.
    So this patch was built by me, as a big fan of this great game, and includes next:
    - Autopack 1.73 "Serenity Pack"
    - MasterEfect Reborn shaders
    - different car models and engine sounds.
    In fact, this patch is a modified version of Autopack with some differences.
    All the rights belongs to authors of used mods. Mods names and their authors are named below.
    Mods was taken from turboduck.net forums and Facebook's community (http://www.facebook.com/tdu2mods)
     
     
    To use this patch you need to have:
    - an unpacked game
    - Unofficial Patch 0.4 by Xarlith
    - TDU 2 CamHack v. 1.2 (in some of new cars a camera in cocpit view is incorrect, so CamHack is necessary)

    1. There are some Autopack defects are fixed:


    - Some imbalanced cars are fixed due to their lack of speed limits:

    9. Rims of Koenigsegg CCX was changed to more corresponding to reality.
     
    10. Mistakes of some car names was corrected.

    Hey,
     
    having many many things to handle right now, thus per-month TDUF release will be delayed a bit.
     
    Good news is I encountered that rear view bug when applying some changes, and I found how to fix it. Steering Wheel Tilt setting is fully functional now (see pics below).
     
    One news being not enough, I discovered a new setting, which is the complementary view number (that's the view TDU will use when pressing back view button). So that would be theorically possible to switch to different view kind temporarily).
     
    1.12 version should be ready before the end of next week if everything works as expected.

    Such an indication is displayed because an unsupported character code is used in the file of TDU 2. The latest ver 3.5.0.3 released the other day changed handling of character code. Please try it.

    Here is updated structure for cameras.bin: all settings now can be entered from -32768 to 32767. Negative values might not have any sense so I will keep only positive ones in the future.
     
    To apply update,
    - close TDUF
    - rename attached file to BIN-cameras-map.json (remove .txt)
    - open tduf/tools/lib/tduf-1.10.jar with 7-zip and replace in files/structures directory from archive. It should erase existing file.

    First you need to know is, it's not an easy or fast process. But i will try to explain.
     
    You will need these programs first, in order to make it all work.
     
    TDU Modding Tools
    TDU UT
    TDU PE
     
    Now, every car in TDU, has to be listed in CarPhysicsData.db. The stock one and the tuned. So, how do you make them work like that? First thing is extract the CarPacks.db from your DB.bnk.
     
    Open Modding Tools, then go to File Browser, click Database -> then DB.bnk -> CarPacks.db -> extract to...
     
    Once the CarPacks.db is extracted, you must drag it to TDUUT.exe, and it will be transformed into a notepad file, which you can edit.
     
    In the notepad, you will find many codes like this:

    Each number means something, and they're divided by the ; mark. Miss one ; and your game will crash. :lol:
     
    First number, is the car number (In CarPhysicsData). The car that will get in the tuning shop. Second number is the brand that it will be tuned. In the R34 case, that number is the number that is linked to Mine's. The third number is useless, just leave it as it is. Forth number is which tuning shop it will use, Forza Tuner or British Specialist, for example.
     
    Now, there is where the magic happens.
    5th number sequence, is which aftermarket pack will be the 1st tune choice. Each aftermarket pack tells how much the power will increase, weight will be reduced and etc...
    6th number is also useless, i haven't learned how to use them yet.
    7th number is where you put the car number you want it to become. (61085282) is a number that keeps the car as it is, but if you replace it with another number, the same number from other car, found in the CarPhysicsData, when you tune, it will be transformed into that one.
    8th number is price
    9th, 10th and 11th are stats for the game to show the little bars, like 0-60 times, braking feet and handling.
     
    After that, they just repeat the 5th number and on, because that would be stage 2, and stage 3 of tuning. Marking it with colors:

    After you've edited all that, save the file, drag this notepad file again to TDUUT.exe, it will be named then:

    Open Modding Tools -> File Browser -> Database -> DB.bnk -> CarPacks.db -> Replace -> Keep name -> Choose the Carpacks.db.hex.db
     
    And voilá. You've done it. :lol:
     
    Sounds complicated, but once you get the process and how to do it, you can do it quickly.

    Installation is complicated?

    - Make a full backup of your game! (VERY IMPORTANT)

    F.A.Q -
    - Cockpit view is not right.
    Not every car has a 100% perfect centred camera, and not all of them have a perfect fit, so, you MUST adjust the seat position in TDU menu in order to make it work better for every vehicle.
    How? While in the street, press Esc then go to Options -> Seat Position and move the sliders.
     
    - I Alt+tabbed and the game is now in a black screen.
    Well, that is a problem, and i honestly have no idea what so ever how to fix that. Sorry, but untill i or someone else, figures it alt, avoid use alt+tab or play in windowed mode.

    Cause of the error was found. Rim code in use described in the vehicle data were not correspond with the description of the RIM tables available on the vehicle.
    Is this a bug originally had been left in the database, or intentionally whether such value has been set? I do not know for now.
     
    Anyway, you can correct the data in the following procedure.
    0. Load "Lambo Countach 5000QV" data.
    1. On the tab page "Tire/Rims", click rim code in "Tire-Rim combination code list". Row in the list will be selected.
    2. Click "Rimove" button. After that,
    3. Click "Add" button. "TireDBViewer" will be opened. On TireDBViewer,
    4. Click "code" column hedder. Cell will be sorted by code.
    5. Find code "158", and click it to select the code.
    6. Click "Add this combination" button. Code 158 will be registerd in db_data as Rim in use. You can close "TireDBViewer" now.
    7. Please remenber to click "APPLY" button at the last.

    It has become possible to assign a plurality of rims. Like other normal vehicle, you can select the rim at the time of purchase, it was able to or replace the rim in the tuning shop.

    I made Hex-Decimal mutual conversion tool. When analyzing the files of TDU2, this might be useful. Please use if you like this.
     
    Installation / Uninstallation:
    Put all the files after extrac a zip file to the suitable folder. If you no longer need, delete the folder in which you installed.
     
    Usage:
    - With the keyboard:
    Enter any of the value of the integer or floating-point number or Hex value onto the edit box directory.
    The conversion result is displayed by pressing the return key.
    - With mouse:
    Enter the value by mouse clicking a button. The conversion result will be displayed
    by clicking "Convert" button.
