  1. Hi Who... Dutton Legerra ZS, google images, mines the green one. Think it predates the scimitar by a couple of years. 1989/90
  2. Thats just Chester doing his 'mop' impersonation. That was about christmas last year, will post a couple more tomorrow If I can find the good ones on the PC at work. Mab is the noisiest cat ever... but chester sounds like a 'big' cat when he talks, deep voice cat lol
  3. Another blatant bump.... We have two cats Chester (ginger) and Mab. When they arrived at 9 weeks they looked like this... http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/The%20Cats/rochester4.jpghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/The%20Cats/martha1.jpg They are 2 years old now and have grown a little... http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/The%20Cats/IMG_3841-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/The%20Cats/IMG_4540-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/The%20Cats/IMG_3831-1.jpg
  4. Guess I did Ryzza.... BTW... morning mate... its 1.14 am over here.
  5. Funny thing that... I used to think it was related to a game I played on the computer which involved driving exotic cars like a raving looney....
  6. Just spent the entire evening reading this thread... Some good photos, milli and Cis ... Hi Good to put faces to names but so damn annoying because your all so young. Grrrr.... Anyways, as its been posted on the Milli's TDU2 thread already here's my stupid grin and my kit car, taken a few weeks ago. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/IMG_0886-1-1.jpg So now i've broken the ice for the over 40's on this site, who else is going to be brave (read stupid) enough to post one...
  7. I'll second that Ryzza. They are both invasive protection, clog your PC up running programs and addons you dont really need. MS security essentials I've heard good things about. I use our corporate symantec AV and spybot, I know the Symantec and norton are the same company but the corporate version just does the job with no frills, don't know why they don't market it under the norton brand as a basic AV though.
  8. I remember reading about the restoration work when me and the mrs did the guided tour. The castle has quite a nice homely feel to it though unlike some 'down south' like Berkley. Great place for taking photos, the highlands.
  9. Still not working for me, will try another... http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Landscapes/IMG_0305-1.jpg Eileen Donan Castle in the Scottish Highlands, used in the original film Highlander so I was told. EDIT ~ that seems to work, maybe I messed it up putting the large files in the first post by accident?
  10. Hi Jazzi Yes I was using img tags linked to photobucket. Always seemed to work in the past and indeed on two of the pics on that post, all the tags are formatted the same.
  11. I've checked the html on my pics but three of them are only showing up as links, I resized and edited but still the same three show as links, anyone have any ideas why this happens or is it 'just one of those things'? Anyway, here's one for the BTTF fans, made by me for the model engineer exhibition in london back in the early 90's from a plastic model kit, it's the only thing I ever won an award for. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/models/dlorian1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/models/dlorian2.jpg
  12. :thumbsup:Hi... and thanks, its a troll to drive in the rain but I love it.
  13. Got to be a party pooper but if i saw that 'block of flats' coming the other way I would poo myself badly, it was lethal (but oh so funny) At least I know what NOT to do to my ambulance when I convert it... Did the same sort of hair test in my kit car about three years ago .. FAIL, eating your own hair at anything over 40mph, my mrs hates going out with the windows off...
  14. Yes, and Atari EU and US for TDU1, all the same version of me.
  15. Thanks for the plug Ryzza. The G25's don't have 7 forward gears because they were designed before anyone fitted 7 forward gears in a production car. I recondition G25's as a side line from work, they can develop faults after time but if you know where they develop its easy enough to prevent them happening. Haven't got my hands on a G27 yet, they don't seem to develop the same faults. I can do a reconditioned and modified G25 for about £100 GB + shipping. I only do them for people I have spoken to on forums or in game as its not a commercial venture for me, I don't get paid for the time spent doing the mods. I also do spares so if you got one cheap over there with a broken shifter I could sell you a modified one to replace it. The wheel unit and pedals are heavy and cost a lot to ship (and very rarely go wrong) Its the shipping that would be expensive if you are in South Africa. When you think a new G27 is over £300 GB.... big difference. (you'll have to work out the conversion into your local currency)
  16. Can we assume you have gone into the menu options on TDU and set all the controls? Each one has to be configured manually for the shifter and wheel to work. Have you tested the wheel in windows control panel/game controllers?
  17. Well I have two vehicles currently. The first is a camper converion (work in progress) on this little beast, smokes through traffic surprisingly well even with the lights removed. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/DSC00979.jpg And the daily driver is a little smaller and a whole lot more fun. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/IMG_4824-1-1.jpg Roof off is a bit windy, roof and windows off it's like sitting in a hurricane at 70mph. Got another of these in the garage but it's been modified to have popup headlamps and no bulges. Looks totally different and much more up to date.
  18. Don't worry, I'll see your spam and raise you another slice. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/2009%20Stoneleigh/IMG_3223-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/2009%20Stoneleigh/IMG_3232-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/2009%20Stoneleigh/IMG_3226-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/2009%20Stoneleigh/IMG_3244-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z23/Rebuilda/Automotive/2009%20Stoneleigh/IMG_3249-1.jpg This is a replica based on a ford sierra chassis... £17,000 replica ! All in one place at the same time along with a few hundred others. [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 350KB, use a thumbnail or a text link instead, thanks!
  19. Nicely done Starley. +REP Now then a challenge... Who's going to get the sound sorted. Its a V twin monster, very distinctive sound . Should be running open pipes too.
  20. I guess the yacht comes with its own private anchorage and grounds...10 car garage FTW... The only thing I am really hoping for is realistic 'roll' characteristics, I want to do a 360 barrel roll and land it without a scratch, not get to 90 degrees and have the engine stall and park me nicely stationary in the weeds. I also think Formentera will be a 'level' aquired bonus like H mode and the racing circuit. I think A class cars should be too. My toy car (see avatar) stays fairly dry inside above about 60mph, below that best be wearing waterproofs. The parcel shelf/rear speaker box gets soaked though as it gets the 'wash' from the windscreen like a waterfall. It does sound like they have looked at the mods put up by the community too with the possibility of weather and 'moving parts', lets just hope the physics have improved to match.
  21. The caparo has very little grip at slow speeds as it weighs very little. It relies on down force for stability and needs to be at speed for the aerodynamics to function correctly. On a twisty lane it would lose out to any Scooby or Evo. Now a tuned Evo is another tool altogether and the english police already use Evo's and Subaru's because they perform so well.
  22. Maybe its going to work like GTA* or NFSU2 , with different bits unlocked as you progress through the game. Maybe formentera will be locked until you get champ status like the race track. I can see the sense in using Oahu though, mapping is mostly done and if you wanted off road races there is plenty of area for it. There are a couple of things I would like fixed. Server support:- I think thats everyones worst gripe, 8 players to a session isnt exactly MMO. Bin Gamespy. flush the horror away for gods sake. Bike physics, my real bike used to have two separate brakes ... front and back. that would be nice. make stunt riding much more fun. That leads nicely into... Flipping gravity... the reset thing that sorts your car out when it goes past a certain angle was always a bug... If you car rolls ..let it roll, crash and smash to a stop. Put in a violence level control maybe. turned up to max you should get the full horror and gore of a real accident, just not the fatality part. If there is a damage factor involved then I for one am going to be spending a lot of time in the body shops.. I am looking forward to the new arrival, but also worry incase they haven't listened to the consumers at all and it has all the faults of TDU with more new ones added because of it being 'prettier'.
  23. I have no doubt someone will correct me if i'm wrong but those wheels look to be made by compomotive, not unusual if this was derived from a 'race' aston model originally. Aston Martin would have used aftermarket rims for a race car as the original road rims of this vintage would have been narrower. Really nice mod tool, a nice surprise after a bad day at work. Wil be having this one as soon as rapidshare lets me. Just one question, do you find the models from NFS Pro Street suitable for converting to TDU? Thanks again for making our TDU experience much more enjoyable, keep it up. EDIT - Electro, its a 12 vear old car, designed back when Aston Martin was under different ownership. If you think thats bad have a look for the lagonda from the seventies eugh....
  24. Whites good, makes it nicely different to all the other bikes. Love the mod and wish to thank everyone for all the hard work, first class. +REP.
  25. my rant seems to have dissapeared... sorry Admins, I was in the middle of something when it happened and i was a bit peeved. won't happen again.:o
