  4. I think it's weird there's yet not 1 real open car-driving sim. (you know.. TDU/SIM) Guess it's too niched.. good thing there's imagination. :P (I'll just put down [/offt] here :) ). EDIT: It was seeing all the graphic efforts spent on a "kidgame" that brought it up. :bmad:.. uugh. XD

  8. You're right.. I remember 1 short mission that gave much (was it 70.000 o15.000 hmm) anyway $ is no issue for gas. And in case cost is hard to do.. skipping it doesn't matter much. :)
  9. Fuel... :bananadance: (holding thumbs). Perhaps it's possible to have analog or digital to what's most correct per car/bike or make it an option. Or even authentic gauge / vehicle... would take time though. (I'm fine with mix and same for all vehicles also though.. also I like analog most). I wonder how refuelling will be activated, I hope it will be possible at the stations (and not just keyb click wherever or something).. and have actual refill times (with instant-full choice/or leave station=jumps to full) IDEALLY with gas left/car saved to next game. Remember fake refuelling, ^^ It's good as a rest stop too. Hope it's possible. IF it's gonna cost.. then perhaps optional and maybe cost according to amount filled.
  10. I figure it's likely impossible to fix (besides being outside of project goal) but I want to ask.. TDU's mirrors could use some fixing... I remember 2 (4) things: (Even if nothing at least they're still OKish =) 1 Some mirrors have 1 side mirrored to the other (eg left and mirrored left). 2 Cars visible distance too short in mirror. (3) Some mirrors views too much into the ground (Might just have been a high set seat and mirrors ofc not following that though unsure.. not installed). (4) Might be wrong (cant find now, and not installed) but.. reflection images smaller than the mirror frame). .... thoughts? :)
  11. Instead of unbuckling it yet again (like with tDUD 2). ..now melt that sucker and do it right this time.
  12. EDIT: Oh guess we can talk about crew now.. well it doesn't stand a chance against tdu. I know.. unless you like full non-sim arcade and games that wished (starting to doubt they even gave a flying) they'd reach tdu2s "amazing" quality.

  14. Once Mr. Grand turismo talked about open world. Perhaps in GT7 (one can dream). I also hope he brings his adaptive tessellation to the driving part of the game.. not just photomode. Tessellation car list Scrolling down each zoomstage is a bit stunning. (not just saying that.. it's true for a change). :drool: :drool::drool::drool::drool:(#1 for before/after).
  15. 1:1 location was a big factor in tdu.. for me anyway. Although I'd been happier if they hadn't adapted the map for arcade driving (and if tdu had been non-arcade). (Some other crew so so's).
  16. They should've gone open world .. then perhaps it could have been a new mm2.

  18. There has been a community modding project involving the incredible Just Cause 2 that has been going on for a number of years, and now finally, it has come to its official launch. Say hello to Just Cause 2 - Multiplayer!! No more running and gunning with or hiding from an extra 7 players at a time, as thousands, yes thousands of players can be accommodated at the same time (that's what the printwork says anyway!). So prepare for one of the most chaotic gaming experiences you are ever likely to take part in as chances are that staying alive will be the ultimate goal in this playground of madness. Note: You need the Just Cause 2 game in order to use this, luckily it can be found on Steam and other places for about $5.
  19. no mirrors (if actually true). no authentic map strive (1:1 size). no rolling yet again. (It's confirmed then..) no controls option no no no cars (almost)... Thx.. but NO thx. (no more last ponder)
  20. Noticed the rims momentarily disappears at crash 7:49. Anyway.. OK they've made improvements over both TDU games, but for me there's too many wrongs to accept The Crew (besides it being arcade to the brim), E.G many standstills and also seen downgrades and removals. (could add example list pre release, but I see no reason). Interest lost.. oh well. /grumpy :)
  21. Yeah what I thought.. (rephrased post) ..but just saw the new game play videos with some AI-cars rolling.. yet.. it seems to be STRONG anti-roll sometimes.. uhm. EDIT:hmmm looked at it some more... maybe it's just normal physics.. (see frontwheels so on). oh well
