  1. Are you talking about pCARS? If so the IGCD page needs serious updating: IGCD.net: Vehicles/Cars list for Project Cars
  2. Burnout Paradise, NFS Hot Pursuit (2010), PGR 4, DiRT, and so on. They resemble actual cars but still have a large amount of forgiveness so it's not difficult.
  3. When the physics completely eliminate drifting and don't resemble good arcade or IRL physics, it ruins the game.
  4. FH's graphics and physics still put it a leg above TDU1, imo.
  5. Ah. I should probably read at Assetto then. :hmmm:
  6. Would it be at all possible to remake Oahu and port it to pCARS? It has at least one city car and driving a Mugen Atom on those roads would be ridiculous.
  7. I also think the game (if open-world, which it should be) should have online public free-roam. HP2010 really could have used that.
  8. Definitely agree with cockpit view. It's not NFS's style but it really puts me off buying NFS games, when they have all those nice cars and no way to see from the inside, and some don't even have bonnet cam.
  9. And no Atari, don't forget that. They only serve to ruin any game they can get their hands on.
  10. TDU's hardcore was just an assist setting, not a different physic model. Didn't bother with it because of that, the cars were nearly impossible to drive with all the oversteer, which was made into spinouts because TDU2's physics sucked.
  11. HC Mode was a great arcade physic model but it had moon gravity, and it was still hard to turn in some cars. Also it wasn't remade in TDU2.
  12. Meh, the physics really kill it for me. It is a driving game after all, not having physics (and to a lesser extent, a car list that sucks) really defeats the purpose of a driving game. Had they spent all the time making the crappy clothing DLC on the physics it would be a lot better of a game, and I might actually play it, because then it would be a kind of worthy successor to TDU. But if/until they do that, I refuse to play anything made by Atari. Let alone buy another TDU if they make one.
  13. Better physics in general would have. Both TDU games' physics sucked. Also having netcode that didn't disconnect you every few seconds is nice.
  14. By turning on the TDU servers again and maybe extending support? That's the only way they'll get a not-completely-horrible record I'd guess.
  15. I'm not buying another Atari game after TDU2 and them closing TDU servers, regardless of how good it may be. I'd much rather have Forza Horizon 2 or whatever Ivory Tower is currently coming up with.
  16. Meh. Unless it has more cars (and genuinely more cars, not just slight reskins of race cars), Porsche included, handling not inspired by a 6year-old who watched Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, and some serious proof that DLC will be worth the Season Pass price, I'm not going to even think about it. FH and GTA 5 have my attention now.
  17. Yeah, pCARS needs a ton of supercars, normal cars, and so on before I'd consider it suitable to base an open-world game off of. That said, the game itself would be good for it. And don't they already have community track days so MP is covered? Haven't read up on pCARS too much, pardon my ignorance if not.
  18. Hairdresser on a track day? :cheeky:
  19. A true showcase in how to make a newspaper advertisement and generate good publicity.
