I'd probably focus on making a version with taskbar and then accommodate users not using it, makes more sense as I can't imagine many people hiding all their important buttons to run a skin. Also something's wrong with the Quick Settings menu. http://i.imgur.com/gJ0yw.png

Installed your most recent update, the status bar opened itself in Holo Light even though the rest was in Holo Dark and the softkeys were under the Windows taskbar, uploaded before I could figure out what that was all about though.

Checking it now, knew I forgot something :p

On my phone it took about 10-15min, but it varies from phone to phone of course. Mine for instance (Nexus One) was designed as a dev. phone and so was made for this sort of thing, so it's probably easier than yours.

Don't notice any unusual weather here, tomorrow looks suspiciously warm though. :hmmm:

Generally you have to install a backup partition, put the ROM and Google Apps files on the SD card, wipe the user data and caches, and flash the ROM + Google Apps package inside the backup partition.

Did the ROM thread provide any instructions? It's somewhat specific to each device.

So far nothing unusual, but the app drawer button still needs the softkey effect of the action buttons. GNow appears to be working good, but I have no idea how to use the music player. Is it an iTunes controller or otherwise?
