  1. I beg to differ. As you can see in this video, it understeers quite easily if you really push it.
  2. Yes and no. Depends on which mode are you playing. The Transit handling was made in Hardcore mode, and i know that in normal mode they are just horrible. On hardcore mode, yes, bodyroll can cause understeer, as you put exessive load on the front tires, making them lose grip. And grip is not the strongest for the Transit. You can buy the Esprit just fine. Just bought it. The position shouldn't matter. Unless you changed the bitfield of the dealer, making some slots unavailable.
  3. Because car classes are defined for more than just final speed. Handling and acceleration are also considered.
  4. To make it have a stiffer suspension and 5-speed gearbox, i would need to create another entry in the database. But that is not really how TDU tuning works, they work with % upgrades of the "base" car, unless you change the base car, by making it use another database entry. That means even though they look the same, there will be 2 entries in the database for it. So if you edit the stock one, you will need to edit the other one aswell.
  5. Yes, i have it. There is a way to find, as @Tob-Racer mentioned aswell, and there is the third way, which is you guys organize yourselves to make a list. Can it be here in the forums, on this thread or on another thread. Nothing is stopping you guys to actually make one. lol
  6. And yeah, it's always nice to read how people got to know TDU, and their stories. Thanks for joining in, and don't forget to leave your teeth over the shelf, so the squirrel mafia won't attack you.
  7. To make the car change it's class, a new entry must be added in the database. That means for each vehicle, i would need at least 4 different database entries for the same vehicle. When someone edits the Impala, the person would need to edit all these 4 entries individually, instead of just one. Modify the vehicle is not required for game completion, they exist mostly for free roam drives, and to easy up races.
  8. That's because you did them wrong. Lol While converting your DDS to 2db, you must use the original 2db as a source/guide.
  9. 1. Yes, but it's not easy, and i don't really recommend you to try. 2. Use the TDUPE provided in the pack, otherwise it won't read the new added vehicles. BUT, i suggest you to use TDUF 1.12. And make a backup of your DB>bnk file before you change things. Modify at your own risk.
  10. Decided to drive a bit today, and joined a random session. A player, SChloe83 recognized me as soon as i joined him and his friends session. And then from there, the session grew, even @TDU Iceman showed up. 11. The weather moves, just not as fast as modern games. You must stay for like, 3 to 4 hours to notice a real difference. In any case, try close the game, wait 5 minutes and open it again.
  12. Tested both things. 1. Race is fine. Did 4:31 with a stock rented C-Class Corvette Grand Sport C6. With crashes, so, the time can be lowered. 2. Tested the Saleen, and it's normal. In automatic, in manual, stock and with +700hp. It doesn't choke, it doesn't display any issues what so ever. Try to sell your Saleen and re-buy it.
  13. When creating a new profile, just mark check the gamespy account, use any email, any password and it should work. If you're stuck in a connecting to Test Drive server, i don't know how to help, as that might be an issue with Project Paradise itself, and not Platinum.
  14. It works with any PC version of it, as far as i can tell. And you can create 4 radios of your own, in the savegame folder.
