  1. I type "turboduck.net/forum" to access it. Edit: Because that's what i am used to do.
  2. Hi there Diabs and IT people! As the title says, there is an issue with login, not sure if it's just me... but i must login twice, in order to make it work. The first time i login, i get this: Then i must login again and it works as it should. Any ideas? P.S. Started this message without have the print screen done, decided to take it, logged out, took the screen, when i went to make the post again, it had a "restored saved post" or some sort of thing, and it was like a backup, didn't have to write it all again. Not sure if it's new, but loved this feature! Hahaha
  3. It's looking epic! And the extended downtime is more than excused. Brilliant job Diablo, i know you have been working on this since a loooooooong time, for sure. (Before and while the maintenance time) Liking it so far! :D
  4. Try to put it in another car dealer. It might work.
  5. I've just explained 5 posts above yours. I've played Need For Speed since the Hot Pursuit III, on the PS1, and i enjoyed it. I played the NFS IV, Porsche, Underground I and II, Most Wanted and so on and never complained about it being arcade, until the Undercover, which had this "Disconnected" feeling and i couldn't play it for five minutes. Even Juiced 2 had better "Physics" than that.
  6. My problem with the physics is not about being simulator or arcade, but about the real feeling of me driving. I played Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition for hours and hours, and that game is really far from simulators or realism, although, i got the feeling that i was the one driving, different than Hot Pursuit 2010, where i felt totally "disconnected" to the car. I was not driving, i was giving commands to a computer that can't understand what i want.
  7. I don't care about the history... as i said before, the only thing that concerns me about this game is the driving physics. If it's like all the previous NFS's, since Undercover-Hot Pursuit 2010, it's a baaaaaaad bad thing Automatic drifting at 223km/h! Wow, it's awesome to not drive in a driving game! Come on game, drift it for me while i look cool!
  8. Not yet, as the contest hasn't finished yet, the finalists will present their projects around November. My project got out in the first stage. Actually, we don't quite know what Volkswagen wants, because i've heard from a friend who is in the finals that one person has made a bike, another one has made a jetpack... so, i really don't know. I also don't know how a jetpack is "Pieces of Brazil", which was the main theme of the contest. And dream about they hiring me to be an automotive designer, now is hopeless, as that sure won't happen. I don't quite know yet what i will do with my life from now on, but automotive designer became plan C, if not plan E. :/
  9. We do have the Amarok here aswell, although mine would be smaller in size. To fit between the Volkswagen Saveiro and the Amarok. Same idea of the Renault Oroch.
  10. It's easier in Europe, because automotive brands have a different posture over there. Here they are like "a club", extremelly hard to get in. Plus, for you guys it's easier to go to Scuola Politecnica di Milano, and get in the Masters on Transportation Design. Fiat takes students from there to be internships at Turim... Sadly, the cost and expenses for that are way too high for me. Don't give up Hassan... i might have failed at this, but you don't have to take same path as me.
  11. Soooooooooooooooo, i am here, on this thread, once more again, but this time, a bit more emotional. As many of you guys know, i've always tried to be an automotive designer, trying my best at contests that brands rarely open around here. 2015 was no different, Volkswagen has opened it's Design contest, i've made my project, submmited, and again, i didn't pass. What makes it different than other times is... this was my last try. I must graduate, and the contest is for students only. That means... if i ever will be an automotive designer, my path just got a LOT harder. I'd like to thank everyone who believed me, everyone who sort of told me to never give up. Thank you. Now, the project... A small intro... Concepts Sketches Technical board Final Renders If the images are too big, tell me and i will resize them.
  12. Hahaha that's great. They have re-created it.
  13. Really? What are you guys doing on that Whatsapp group? Exchanging nipple photos?
  14. I've tried those heists with randoms too, and i won't try them again anymore. As Ozz said, it's incredible hard to get just 4 people in the session, once i've waited longer than 2 hours and couldn't fill a room with 4 players. They can't wait and always quit. And, when you get enough people to play, they are incredible dumb, including people who is over level 200. They haven't learned how to do missions, and get killed, ruining everyone's mission. It's too much frustration to get money in the game. So, normally i turn it off and back to my Gran Turismo where i can play by my own, buy another Mazda and be extremelly happy with it.
  15. Slow shifting, too much time with the clutch. But nice sound. Hmmm... it doesn't say you need to use the whole song though. And i don't know... it's not about a story, it's a misconception think that because a video pass a message that it has a story... and by message it could be anything, beyond words. As i said, the message could be just a good feeling after watch a video, a sensation... This video for example: It doesn't tell a history, but it has a message, at least a message that i understand, some may not understand same way as i do, and i think that is what makes a video cool... but maybe that's just my point of view about doing things... i don't like to make what everyone else is making, more of the same is not my thing.
  16. Well, i will be honest and say that i don't really know the regulations of the video, you posted the video but i couldn't get it very clear. So, i will start asking if you have time to change it, or even record some more footage, if not, then ignore it all and goes with what you already has, which is good. Just too common and obvious i'd say. I mean, you have used the same song he did on his, you really followed his idea, but without the same amount of footage. If i noticed correctly, the video is to show the fun and the thrills of riding a bike to you. It's your video. You can use the song you feel like for it. Plus, the video doesn't need to be 4 minutes long, as it doesn't have to be as long as the music. What i am trying to tell you is, try to find out what you like so much in riding a bike, is the the bike community? Are the twisty roads where you lean the bike while cornering? Other thing, but that is more technical about the video, which also would require more footage, you have always the same angle for the camera. I don't know what equipament you use to hold it, but would very interesting if you can get different angles on camera, even if you record some of them on your street. Careful with transitions and effects... even the video you used as an example carries too much on this... imagine that your video is a message, and the message, which is the fun of riding a bike, must be very clear. And to finish, i'd remove the game part. Again, if you want something to be different, try to focus more on feelings, and sensations. And yes, i know it's not simple. An example, for the ending, you can just use a footage of your bike, in the sunset, even better if you can only see the silhouette of the bike, and it doesn't have to be moving... and this small footage fades to black, slowly.
