  1. Today's mod: http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad96/killalldude/DSC_0921.jpg
  2. ^Basic etiquette. Pick her up.
  3. I think you're right about this. FWIW, I was reading a forum post and someone was saying in the late 70's/80's (oil crisis and the rising popularity of fuel efficient imports) that domestic manufacturers simply took the engines that they had and seriously detuned them to improve economy. The 3800sc is the supercharged V6 in mid-late 90's Pontiacs/Buicks right? Cost wise this is probably the best swap. But an LS3 would be epic. Camry V6 wouldn't be that bad either, super reliable and great highway MPGs.
  4. Body looks super clean. I like the wheels on it too. Any plans for a manual swap? 3-speed on a highway must be frightening! Or you must have a super tall 3rd gear lol.
  5. ^ I 'd
  6. Lol, this is the greatest thread title evar! Come on, man. You should know alcohol + school = fail.
  7. :pathead: Damn that's cold. Most girls are though.
  8. Those tires look like burnout material...
  9. The new one looks like complete crap. I always thought all versions of these were quite handsome though:
  10. I'm sad to see Holden go. Over the past 10 years, they were the best products GM made besides the C7 and C6 Z06/ZR1! Apparently nobody in Australia wants domestic cars. Ford announced a while ago they were pulling out. Funny thing is, everyone outside of Australia wants American-branded Australian cars. Those cars would do well in the US.
  11. I remember seeing this back in October. I read an article somewhere they can't make the 9-5 and 9-4X due to intellectual property issues. I really like the new 9-5 wagon.
  12. :birthday:
  13. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the IS estate were never offered with a stick...
  14. I thought this was a birthday thread. If it is, :birthday: If it's actually a boob thread, ignore this post. I would contribute but am trying to avoid the ban hammer. :banned:
  15. A friend of mine has one. From what I gather it isn't worth it. Slow, not that great to drive, they cost a lot, and when it comes time for resale people only want unmolested, bone stock wagons. :hmmm: That seems a lot like my wagon... :run:
  16. Any of them. The WRX and STi's are pretty quick. Plus those were the Imprezas that actually looked good.
  17. I know that. But what is it supposed to mean? That all car enthusiasts go sideways and speak Engrish JDM Japanese?
  18. Where did this start? Saw it on another forum, now I see it everywhere? Lol the badges on that Mini... reminds me of overbadged American pickups.
  19. I guess it depends where you live. But so long as you are smart about it and install them with headlights that have projectors then I don't see why it would be a problem. Now there are some people who install them in reflector headlights and that just blinds everybody. You probably won't have to change the headlights themselves, so long your car comes with projector headlights you can install HIDs without blinding anyone.
  20. If I were you I'd go with an aftermarket HID retrofit kit. You'll easily spend 2 grand on parts for an OEM swap, and then find out you can't because some computer is missing. If you go aftermarket you can get a quality brand for about $200-300. Check out The Retrofit Source.
  21. That's exactly what I thought too... I had no idea it used to give rep points.
  22. Pics or it didn't happen. Clean GTI though. Any plans?
  23. Mercedes makes the best luxury car, the S-Class. BMW make the best sports car and sports sedan, the M3 and M5 (I guess now the M4 and M5). Remind me, what does Porsche make? :cheeky: x1000000000
