Yeah since when has the GTR NOT been a supercar???? Evo is not a supercar, despite it being able to half keep up with some in the right circumstances, its a sports car.

Is photography not the act of taking photos? Is there something wrong or humourable about people enjoying photography as a hobby?

lol, going to be brutally honest here, your not going to get far believing that TDU2 was a good game. Now, the modders will make what they want to make when they want to make it, nothing wrong with requests, but I see this being pretty low on the list of wanted mods, many people (myself included) just dont like it. Without sounding rude (I know it does, but try to read it without it sounding rude)- learn to mod yourself? I did the same thing with counter strike source, back in the day, I wanted an m4 with a foregrip, custom stock and an eotech, no one made one and I requested MANY times- finally, i just did it myself, and it was one of the most rewarding things- it led to a 4 year or so hobby career as a counter strike modder. Just keep that in mind, imagine what you could bring to the game if it was YOU doing it ;)

I understand that, but it frustrates me when I put effort into everything I post here and pretty much every one of my threads gets pushed to the bottom and never gets looked at- its not that I do things purely to get views here, its just part of the motivation. I did mention that I know the black around the windows isnt the best (although not in those words; thats what I meant when I said detailed brushing) ;) thanks for the feedback :) I partly started on my next project, the dreaded ricey Evo 8 I have. Cant take photos because my phone is pretty dead, but heres a photo I found on google Except mine is purple with chrome 7 spoke wheels. Eck... I was 11-12 years old and had been playing a LOT of Midnight Club, NFS Underground, Juiced, etc. lol. The good news is the built quality is good! Every (and I mean every...) piece is screwed or glued in individually, even the rear wing. This means its a lot easier to fix and paint. Probably going for a proper pro time attack look. Planning on (working from front to back): Painting the body silver (I think, undecided atm) Repainting the intercooler flat silver, for realism Repainting the front splitter black (I know its already black but its a crap job and it'll get painted over with the silver/whatever I use anyway) or making it carbon fibre Either painting the bonnet to match the car, or putting a carbon fibre texture over it HOPEFULLY replace the wheels, if that cant happen i'll just paint those ones black or something I guess... Repaint the dashboard and interior (not the seat/s, they are GREAT, i've removed the passenger seat, for jdm weight reduction win) Figure out what to do with the ridiculous late 90s speaker filled parcel shelf (i've already removed the speakers and twin nos bottles...), may just cut it off, but then your going to see right through to the chassis, which is a tad unrealistic... Repaint the rear spoiler, carbon-ify the actual spoiler part, leave the mounts black. YEAH... thoughts? lol. edit: Note to self- never buy RE30s again... Just broke my bronze one, test fitting it to the evo... The brake disc and caliper are 2 pieces, and they slide over the mounting piece on the back of the wheel, too bad the disc is a really tight fit, and impossible to get back off another wheel without a fair amount of force, and the RE30 having such thin spokes, it just snapped, much the same as this -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- But its not all bad, I found that the same brand of wheel as the RE30, Advans and Watanabes will fit this model too, so... I dunno, maybe. Theyre 19"s and they look tiny, so clearly the car isnt really to scale :\ maybe I wont bother with it after all lol.

Advans turned up! Have painted them, just waiting for them to dry so I can fit the tyres then put them on the car :) They look gooooood in white- i'll actually take some good photos too, dont worry :D Love it :D

Sweet! Chasers ftw, where did this model come from? Or is it something that you've been building from scratch? If you HAVE been building it from scratch then I am VERY impressed.

Painted the R34 today :) The finish isnt perfect, and I certainly need to work on my detailed brushing, but I reckon its a pretty good job and overall, better than it was before (the most important part). Just need some red paint so I can fill in the middle brake light on the boot lid and the one in the bumper, on the right hand side of the number plate area too. Wheels should turn up tomorrow or Wednesday, and I have some cement coming at some stage to attach the left hand headlight lense properly too, one of the stalks that clip into the body broke when I removed it unfortunately lol. ANYWAY, crappy phone photos :D

Picked up an LP640 today! Very happy to finally have one, i'll get some photos of it sometime through the week :) I was quite busy this week just gone, hence there not being ANY updates. There should be some stuff up this week, stay tuned :)

I think that I'm just going to sand back and paint the Skyline body tomorrow, I've got a couple of possibilities on new stickers but if they dont come to fruition, so what- it'll just be a debadged GTR, its not like im going for a showroom standard one anyway lol. Ironically, i've really grown to love the 1 RE30 (I swapped the black one for the silver one) on there and would like a full set for it, but I cant buy them in 19" anymore, 18"s I can but theyre too small lol. Ooooh well.

WELL, now that I've figured out a way of mounting aftermarket wheels on it, i've purchased a set of Advan RZ's for the GTR :) The wheels dont spin, but is that really necessary? The front wheels will still turn left and right :D

REALLY. Thats interesting, I could also use a couple of other things, like headlights and the rear wing lol. I'll look into it, thanks mate :) edit: just noticed that the bit that connects the wheel to the 'hub' is ACTUALLY the brake disc/caliper assembly, which is stick in the wheel somehow. I can get it to move a little but i cant seem to actually remove it from the inside of the wheel. Now i'm faced with the dilemma of 'do i break a wheel to get the brakes out to see if I can even use them on another wheel' basically.

My R34 GTR rolling chassis! Sneaky Trueno. Those are the headlight lenses and wing mirrors for the GTR in front of it. And my RE30s :) Just waiting for confirmation that I can get some new GTR/Skyline/etc stickers- once I know I can, I'll sand the body back and repaint it white, fix the back of the headlights up etc, and i'll paint the front lip black like its meant to be too :) If I CANT get new stickers without buying a whole new Tamiya kit or something- it'd be stupid to buy a whole kit for its stickers; might as well build the kit and use the stickers on it instead lol- i'll just leave it incorrect random dark blue, fix the headlight backing and lip and leave it. I would like it to be white though... The mounting hubs for the wheels could possibly be modified to take Fujimi wheels, like what I put on the Trueno, and what the RE30s are, might just be a little tricky.

If you can get Z506's I would, I have them for gaming and Z4's for my computer. The sound quality on the Z506 setup seems to be better- I had X240's before either that I have now.

Nothing too fancy, just some epic JDM tuning :)

So heres some crappy phone photos of the painted RE30's, and I went through my wardrobe shelves today, found a couple of interesting things that I basically forgot about. 1: R34 GTR Skyline, comes up goooood. I want to repaint it silver or white (using a spray can, dont worry, not a crappy job), detail some bits up like the headlights and the black plastic exhaust, and modify the wheel mounts to fit some new wheels (Advan RG II or something). 2: (Unpictured) HORRIBLY riced out Evo 8, planning on repainting it, modifying the interior as much as I can to make it less ricey, just generally making it better. The end result should look less SEMA/Auto Salon, more time attack :D

If i knew you had that attitude I would have spun you at Infineon :P
