About to shoot something else- problem is... I dont know what it is. Regardless, i'll have another teaser up in a few hours, at the latest ;) --- Post Updated --- Really need some feedback on those 2 evo shots guys, I just noticed as I was taking them all off my storefront in preparation for a new set to go up- I think they look great on my big monitor because of its dynamic contrast. The thumbnail on one was incredibly over-exposed, so I loaded up the full screen version, as I knew I didnt do any horrid over-exposure and sure enough, it comes up looking fantastic. NEED to know if the dynamic contrast is giving me the illusion of well lit and composed images, or if they actually are good. I cant really tell here because i'm using my laptop, and I dont have an external monitor for it, apart from my widescreen one that I took the photos on, and its in my cockpit connected to the xbox anyway. So yeah, I need detailed, constructive feedback asap if you can, would be very much appreciated :)

LOL i've been preparing to shoot the first gen Mazdaspeed3 for a while now, got one ready to go, just gotta get motivated... maybe later. Maybe not, now, otherwise it'll look like im copying :P Great shots, I love how clear and bright the world looks. Keep at it :)

Great shots tim- that Boss looks epic with the Roush kit, I may have to make one for myself. And yes, the 787B is very possibly the best sounding car in the known universe.

Thanks guys- and yeah I do :P Something i've got rolling around my cranium at the moment is that i'm going to start releasing single shots from a shoot or 8 through the week, then release the whole set/s on FRIDAYS. Thats right. At least several times a week, perhaps several times a day, i'll be posting single shots from any of the few shoots I have done through that week, then EVERY FRIDAY i'll do a formal post, with all the sets etc. I think it'll work well and I look forward to hearing your feedback. I'll have a photo up soon, i'm currently shooting a lovely red Evo 10 :) --- Post Updated --- As promised, my new favourite Evo. Such a horny looking car... I've tried taking photos of them before, but its never worked- never felt right. It was probably a case of; wrong wheels, aftermarket front bumper (I usually put the Chargespeed one on, because I love the double cannards, badgeless grill and front lip) and wrong colour. It just really worked this time... Anyway- i'll throw up another few from the shoot through the week, look forward to the whole lot on Friday. There is a bigshot, and I must say, without sounding like too much of an ass... its a beauty.

Still waiting on wheels and those couple of paints to be able to continue. It appears that the seller I bought the paints off is full of it, wont reply to my emails, and hasnt sent them. Filing a report with paypal and ebay right now.

Thanks guys, and- oh hooo going by your signature, you're going to love this next set Steven :D I'm only going to put up what I consider the best here, theres 37 photos in total, so do go and look at them all with the link posted below :) I must thank Clarence, once again, for driving the Integra that I built :) These 2 cars, to me, are really the pinnacle of Honda's FWD platforms- they may be slower than the later model Civics and Integra, but they have such soul- especially for cheap Japanese sports cars. They've captured the hearts of many a young man around the world, through their use in movies and video games, and constant features in magazines, and the tuner challenges run by Best Motoring. Theyre cheap, aggressively styled and very well balanced, both on and off the track, which is why they fit the JDM Icon title, to me. JDM Icons pt 4: Honda JDM Icons- Honda - a set on flickr. Unless anyones got an issue with it, i'm going to merge my Horizon and FM4 galleries. Well... not so much merge, i'm not bothering with my Horizon gallery anymore, i'll just post any new Horizon shoots in here, lol. And with that note, heres some photos :) Inspired wholely by the DGSOTW comp, but once I drove it I absolutely fell in love with it, with a little bit of suspension tweaking it handles like a dream, but its still pretty edgy- once the tail end snaps loose its pretty deadly, but controllable XD I love that diffuser... BMW Z4 GT3 - A set on Flickr. And a teaser of what i've got going on in Horizon at the moment. Finding good locations is absolutely killing me, nothing ever works :( If you want to share some tips and locations for Horizon photography with me, please do, it has so much potential. So yeah. Let me know what you think, if you approve of the gallery being merged, and if you have any thoughts, tips, etc on Horizo-tography :)

I really am living the dream of all Corolla owners. Were a memorabilia frenzied bunch.

Crappy phone pics are the BEST pics. I'll try to get some better ones with a proper camera tomorrow lol. Pretty happy with them both though, as I said, the hatch needs a bit of a polish to make it shine, but that should be it. Frustrated that i'm waiting on paint to put them together though... The store I bought them off hasnt even posted them yet, do they not know that I'm very impatient? lol. edit: no, the colour coding of the cars to the illustration on the box was not intentional baha.

My FX-GT kit arrived today. Already painted the body, did it Essex white, the same colour as my car. Came up very dull so I shot a couple of clears over the top, hasnt come up too bad, will give it a polish in a few days.Still waiting on the crucial chrome paint etc to arrive so I can move forward, at the moment i'm stuck lol. I'll have a progress photo up shortly after my phone charges enough to take photos lol.

Oh its coming to consoles? I may grab it on 360, if its coming out on it. Perhaps it'll be coming for the next Xbox and PS4 though... Oh well, good to know regardless.

Nice one mate :) Indicators/corner lights are finished and fitted, but my camera batterys died, lol. And in much more exciting news, given that it doesnt go missing in the post, i've secured an AE92 FX GT model kit too :D Very excited, it should arrive in a couple of weeks. Now... so as to save as much shipping time as possible, whos got some ideas for wheels to go on it? I've already got te37's on the way for the trueno, so i'd like something else, but not watanabes as i've grown tired of them. --- Post Updated --- Actually, lol, sorry guys, I decided on Watanabes after all, after looking at some real FX GT's with them. Might put them on the Trueno and put the TE37's on it instead, who knows, i'll get them both built and painted to that stage and see which looks better.

Well I was painting my strut brace, using automotive paint, the clear was for that, so I dont think it'll be right for hobby paint. Might just leave it, its glossy enough as is I think

Hm... Well, I do have clear... Last time I used it (on steel, mind you) it ruined the paint though... Perhaps I did it too early?

Upon testing the red paint I bought, I found that compared to the real red on these model corollas/etc, its far too orangey. So instead, I had a choice of Essex white; the colour my AE92 liftback is painted, or gloss black (generic)- both in aerosol cans in the shed... Opted for gloss black, as white seemed a little pointless over a white body with white primer. Loving the result :) I have assembled the body, basically, since the photos- spoiler, bonnet scoop and wing mirrors are on and painted, leaving it to dry properly for a few hours. I'm waiting on a few more paints, I didnt realize how important they were, but the shop I went to didnt have them regardless. Chrome silver, flat aluminium, gold leaf and semi gloss black, all coming from Taipei lol. You need chrome for a few things, but most importantly to me at the moment- you need to paint the area behind the tail lights, as they are clear, so especially on black, theyre just too dark. Might get the indicators and corner lights finished later and put them on, all thats needed with them is a sticker on each lense, then they can go into the shell, just gotta wait for the paint on the shell to dry first. p.s. if you were wondering, yes, I have some (little) experience in actual automotive painting. :)

Yeah I might hold out til I can afford a proper gaming PC, my laptop overheats playing Counter Strike Source lol.
