12" is hardly huge :P I had 2 12"s in the Corolla- that was excessive (the one in the Fiesta is one of those 2, removed, put in a single box). I did want a 10", but its easier and cheaper to use one of the 2 I already have. Cheers mate, i'm loving every aspect of it.

Hey, most of you have already seen my car pop up in the 'show us your car' thread, but I figured its worth having it's own thread now lol. As mentioned at some point, specs/current mods are: 2L N/A 4cyl Duratec, 150HP (factory rating, probably less), 5 speed close ratio manual, K&N cold air intake. Aftermarket slotted/dimpled rotors (solid rear, ventilated front), OMP front strut brace. Clarion 2DIN head unit, stock front & rear speakers, Fusion 12" sub, cheap amp. Black/red stitch gearstick and handbrake gaiters, genuine Ford dash mat. Smoked front guard indicators, plastidip gloss (k, it came out fairly satin the SECOND time as well, alright? I tried. lol) anthracite standard 17" wheels, white racing stripe delete. Forseeable plans... I did find a rather nice alloy gearknob- really dont like the standard one. Paint engine cover, not sure what colour etc yet though- ST logo will be red, I know that much. ST badges. The less XR4 there is on it the better, gah... Ford Australia, Y U DO DIS. Replace missing side skirt (passenger side). A less restricted exhaust system with an actual metal exhaust manifold would be nice... Plastic is the future, yes, but it feels very awkward lol. Lower springs, hub spacers. Front splitter/lip, rear diffuser fins. Yeah. The photos taken on my lawn are from today, after repainting the wheels, all the others are prior to today, some even prior to head unit install. Ft. camera bag and tool bag- without the camera bag, my tool bag falls over and tools go EVERYWHERE. Without the tool bag, 1, I wont have tools for work (day job), and the sub box moves around, putting a lot of unnecessary stress on the wiring, so... Yeah, boot forever full. Oh well. Still not the gloss finish I am after, but it'll do. they look nice. Clarion, in their infinte wisdom decided against making a clean surround for this unit, so theres a nasty gap between it and the fascia... Cheers Clarion, just what I wanted, an untidy gap in my dashboard. Am hopefully doing a track day NEXT MONTH! EEEEP so excited, will see, some planning to be done, obviously...

lol... Still no engine in it... Feeling like I may have been wrong, when I previously said it wouldnt be a project that'd last forever, its certainly feeling that way... I do think once the engine actually goes in with a manual box, and it cranks over into life, it wont be long until its driveable. Its just getting that engine done, at this point.

Im just losing my mind over this build, this is epic. Totally in love, keep going with the black theme, oh my lord. Makes me wish I had more space, to pull my Levin apart and do the same...

Have wanted to chuck a video up in here for a long while- the corolla simply wasnt worth it, but the Fiesta... well yeah. One of my somewhat local haunts, I go and drive this road quite a few times per month, basically any time I need to think or unwind, or get away, or if I just want to drive my car, I'll come and hit this road up. Sorry if the quality is slightly sub-par, its not a go-pro, just a cheap ebay camera but it does the job- very quiet recording though, you will have to turn the volume up a little. As mentioned in the show us your car thread, essentially stock XR4 (MK6 ST) Fiesta, only performance mod would be the K&N intake, but I mean... I dont know how much it really does... The engine side of the setup is nice, a short big intake pipe straight into the throttle body, big pod filter on the end, but it doesnt have an enclosed box, it just has a couple of flexy pipes running up near the filter, down to the lower grill... All the air they pick up probably gets lost in between the end of the pipe and the filter... Sounds great, regardless.

Update... Yes, same location, different day lol- haven't used an industrial location before now, so much more fun! Since previous post: New headlight bulbs (couldn't believe it, blew a headlight bulb already... hope its not a regular thing)- Phillips ones, really nice and white but damn they were expensive... Smoked black chrome front guard indicators Plastidip gloss grey wheels (I did a TERRIBLE job. Satin is not gloss, and its already peeling... I'll have to have another go at it with paint I think.) (Not pictured) Black leather/red stitching gear stick gaitor and handbrake gaitor. Genuine Ford dash mat Eurostyletuning forum sticker, mightycarmods sticker, carsforhope sticker... lol. Have also purchased a brand new Clarion 2DIN head unit, just waiting on the fascia kit I ordered to arrive and it'll go in. Have 2 12" subs with an amp all in a box in the corolla- am going to steal one sub and the amp, get a single sub ported box and have bass in my life again, just a matter of being bothered to get that box... BUT yeah. Constantly falling in love with this car :)

It looks more aggressive without the stripes, trust me, lol. But I agree, theres guys that have put on a splitter from some model Focus that looks pretty damn nice. True!

So I got a new car last week. The white corolla is still in my possesion, but hopefully not for long... Still finishing the Levin too. Wanted a modern daily drive that is fun, manual, comfortable, and handles well. Ladies and Gents, the MK6 Fiesta ST. I am utterly and totally in love with it. Not much in the way of mods to come, though i've already done one- it had white stripes. Had, for about 3 days. Has a K&N cold air intake and slotted rotors (over non slotted ventilated ones as standard). I want a new head unit and a sub, maybe new speakers, the stock ones are decent, and the passenger side skirt is missing, which I want to replace asap.

Damn it got busy in the FH2 section while I was gone! Been busy with work and such, been taking random snaps as much as I can, so here I present to you... Random snaps from the past couple of weeks! I love my 190E... 3.2L inline 6 engine swap, because its always felt like a 6 cylinder car to me... High resolution. Haha, cheers guys :P Yep, thats the character model, not much any of us can do about it, so i'm not fussed. He doesnt play any major role really, he's only there because someone has to accept wrist bands and sit in the driver's seat. On the Clio- I like the Williams one, I've seen it on the internet, i've heard of it, dont know much about it, love it to bits though- I wish Peugeot had made an appearance in the game, with the 105 Rallye, but... yeah :( Sorry to have offended by changing the wheels Deebs :P and how funny, i've never seen any other version than the Williams one, those wheels are pretty much the same. Took a random. Still blown away by this new wheel selection. High resolution. No really, thats it. Sorry lol. Will take more soon, have a very busy weekend ahead of me, but I'll try and do some more. Hey all, welcome to my Horizon 2 photothread! Can't think of anything clever to say, so straight into some photos! Probably not the first thing you'd imagine would be on my 'take photos of this' list, huh. On a side note- NEW WHEELS OMG I DIED! Theres a whole bunch of epic HRE wheels, something I've been feeling that the series needs- some high end wheels that aren't cheap and nasty looking, forged, 3 piece or not 3 piece, spokey... ughhh theres so many nice HRE designs, it makes me so happy. Oh theres a couple of nice new Momo wheels too. High resolution. THIS is more like me. Neither are my first car, which is actually a Supra- i'll get to it at some point soon, I also love it dearly. So the weather sometimes changes dramatically stupendously quickly. The beading of the raindrops pretty much blows my mind. Its a fairly stunning looking game. High resolution.
