  1. I'm going to panic. Male genitalia and swastikas will be everywhere
  2. It is a Vantage. Note the way the crease before the quarter meets the hood is taller and continues over the grille. The DB9 has the same crease but it ends at the edge of the grille and is less pronounced (see below). EDIT: DAMN IT DIABLO
  3. My bad. You referred to community backlash a couple of times (the FM5 reaction to MT's I now realise) and I assumed that you were referring to people who had taken the announcement of The Crew having MT's as the be all and end all nail in the coffin for the title. Truth be told, had Ubi cacked up MT's badly enough that The Crew became a shelf bought P2W title then it would have been the only required nail in the coffin for me. I don't know about you guys, but if I'm paying for a title I expect everything and not some of the more useful/desirable content to be locked behind a pay-wall. TDU 2 I'm looking at you.
  4. We do not need to defend Ubi or Ivory for being way too vague about the subject. I mean the only straight answer we got was from Julian for Duck sake, and he had to be tweeted at directly for an answer! That's a PR cack up if ever I've seen one and it's up to Ubi to calm all the riled gamers' tits*, not us. *No offense Milli
  5. EA still owns the titles of 'Need for Speed' and 'Burnout'; so it'll be no more from the original Criterion team. What's left of that team and the new guys that EA will inevitably put in will use the Criterion name but won't truly be the Criterion we people know and love. That will be Three Fields. In all likelihood though, Three Fields may choose to depart from that genre of games. So anything can happen at this point.
  6. You know what? Even if this was the ONLY reason why the new Three Fields broke off from Criterion to be formed I commend the guys for this decision. Why? Because unlike EA's other devs, they didn't take any of Nintendo or EA's crap. If this means the devs get to work in a lower stress environment because they need not worry about publishing issues due to these people then even better. Fact of the matter is, this wasn't the only reason they broke off. So I feel that the move was justified as of now onward. EDIT: I forgot to add, the article states the EA didn't give a duck about publishing their own game. Let that sink in a little.
  7. What wheels are those on the wrexy? They seem not too dissimilar to TE-37's but have a boatload more offset than any set I've seen.
  8. Is it just me or does the Heavy pistol look decidedly similar to a custom 1911? It has similar grip panels, but the Docter and extended rail throw me off. Any other gun nuts in here got some ideas?
  9. I've gotten a new motherboard and processor for my PC and I've run into a little problem putting the two together. You see, the two metal 'clips' (square rings meant for hooking the processor to the mobo and locking it there) on the heatsink that shipped with my AMD FX 4350 processor will not both fit onto their respective hooks on the plastic surround of the socket on the MSI 760GM-P23 motherboard I also ordered. WHAT DO?
  10. One of my more memorable experiences was taking a ride in one of these bad boys. The owner had shipped a 427 engine in that had been prepped by Edelbrock and chromed in the US to put under the hood. Our responsibility was to get the car through MOT X_X Anyway, with the top down I could hear that engine (or wild beast, whatever you prefer) roar in an upset manner through it's straight through side pipe exhaust system in a way that I'm sure a properly sealed hardtop would never allow. That for me is the appeal of a convertible. Versus a hardtop though, I struggle to justify the folder. Hardtops are used for performance vehicles much of the time, except when it comes to super and hyper cars which are generally posermobiles anyway. Will you notice the extra chassis rigidity? Unless you are massively into driving then no; but for me it's nice to know that it's there, along with a piece of metal to keep my scalp away from the road. I value that last thing immensely.
  11. Unless I actually went out and robbed that grille from one of the few 300c's roaming around Greater London, that part will be nigh on impossible to find. I'll keep my eye out on local body repair shops, they normally have a few spares lying around from repaired cars but I can't promise anything. It also comes down to cost. Can't buy the thing if I ain't got money bruh
  12. Apart from TB's vid that I mentioned earlier, there isn't much in terms of video evidence. Someone who owns the game on PC is going to have to clue us in.
  13. Well moving back on topic, I never actually thought of the 'like' system to be simply another way of adding rep. I simply liked posts I agreed with, or enjoyed reading. That is, unless it was something that merited some kind of actual significant amount of +rep (for example a mod or useful tool, some obscure information and other miscellaneous posts; that said I haven't given much out since I returned). I believe that is the way you intended the system to be used, but instead people just substituted the +rep button with the like one :P
  14. Well it is just an outsider opinion. Whatever the case, it was relevant and I figured at least one person might want to know about it. Also, thanks to whomever moved the post to this thread, didn't notice it :P
  15. Totalbiscuit bashes NFS:Rivals A man on Youtube by the initials TB got his hands on a copy of Rivals and so far his impression of the game is far from stellar. General outline: Stupid setup for game asset loading All cut scenes (and tutorials) are un-skippable Game speed being tied to FPS will make the average PC player's eyes bleed or have the game be uncontrollable Terrible button config for keyboards and no mouse controls at all Search for it on youtube if you want to see the video. Conclusion: Don't play on PC. Might be a good idea to avoid on console, but I'm not going to take TB's word for it; for all he knows after the training section the game is wonderfully brilliant. Post your opinions.
  16. C10 350 - Gen III LS6 conversion from Hot Rod magazine See below a video of the truck two years after the build + some sweet Honda mini bikes :D
  17. Depends on where the motor is placed, presumably it's not in the engine bay because heat but I somehow doubt they'd place it under the boot floor or anywhere similar. My reasoning is this: Spare wheel, fuel tank, boot space, tool kit, battery pack etc. would be there. K20 would put a decent amount of weight in the front and assuming the electric motor is in/close to the front, that should be that. Then again, it could have the worlds heaviest battery pack X_X
