If you have a firewall or router, you may have to do some port forwarding. I know I had to. IIRC there is a thread here on it somewhere.. or just google how to do it in general.

Here, from the readme.htm in the game's install directory:

When you play on a system that is behind a firewall or proxy, certain ports may need to be opened to connect to multiplayer games.

You must be able to access these external ports:

UDP 8880->8889

UDP 8890

UDP 27000->30000

TCP 6667

TCP 27000->30000

You have to open the following local port: TCP8889

Ports 17475 and 9961 (TCP/UDP) must be opened.

The server is a bit sketchy for me at times. If you notice people not joining your session and then map out and see player dots as yellow instead of red, then your connection with the server worsened. But for me this clears up by just rejoining the game.. although sometimes the game freezes upon rejoining and I have to reboot it.

Also make sure everyones ports are forwarded properly and all that.

Funny story.. I haven't been playing much cause I've been busy, but I just remembered I had a dream last night where I found a new secret car that was hidden deep under tunes of tunes, and I was driving it for real hahaha

All I remember is that it had a blue and white stripe paint job, and kind of like the old GT40 but it was a roadster with sharper modern curves I think. So, something between a Ford GT and the GT40, but a roadster, LOL.

I remember it looks like an innocent kids show, and then shit starts getting real in some episodes

Thing is, there are probably other things she'll have to do after finishing with the cars as well, and we don't know what are the unlisted cars as well. So, many variables either way.

The math checks out.

Heres what I know about paints:

If a car only has one factory paint option, it cannot be repainted back once you custom paint it. The reason is because the factory paint shops can only be accessed when there are at least 2 factory paint options available for a car.

So if you want to restore the original factory paint, you need to go open TDU Modding Tools and give the car 2 factory paint colors to open up the factory paint shops. In my case, TDU Modding Tools already comes packaged with the UCP mod.

Also keep in mind that adding custom factory paints will not show up online. Only paints from the default game will show online... or if you're using a mod other people use, all of its included paint options will show to anyone using that mod.

But if all you want to do is add custom paints that only you can see, you can do that too.

If your fps drops, try bumper cam. I've never had a bad fps-dropping car mod give me issues in bumper cam.

I have a problem :/ I built my pc without a disk drive because in this day in age everything available via digital download... with that said, i cant not find a copy of digital copy of tdu 1 ANYWERE. Ive looked through a mass amount of forums. Would anyone have an solution? (not just buy a disk drive plz)

Also the Russians have their own custom builds on vk.com, but I wouldn't bother with those. Stick with UCP (for now) and the upcoming Platinum on this site.

And for ISO mounting, I've always used VirtualCloneDrive. IIRC, Daemon Tools was bought out by some shady people who put malware in it years ago.
