  1. @Djey Yeah, it's a tuning shop. I thought I was clear enough in what I wrote. Sry. English being my second language, sometimes I'm not the best at it. So basically, I made a pack and assigned a tuning shop to it, and when I get into said shop, the name of my car flash and it says that this isn't the right tuning shop for my car. So I'm asking which program to use to add a brand to a tuning shop. I know you guys are busy and have other things than teaching somebody on the how, but just telling me which program and I'm willing to try and understand how to make it so. Thx.
  2. @Milli Last time someone asked how to add a brand to the game, and you told them that while it was possible, it wouldn't allow any car upgrade in the shops. Well, I tried with a brand already in the database (Lincoln) and I can't get those shops to work. I tried TDUF to see how to mod shops to allow me to add Lincoln to them, unfortunately, in there I only see places to add cars that will be put on display. Which tool do I need to use to add a brand to a store then? Thank you.
  3. People don't use them 'cuz it take a lot of time setting the car up. People like it when they're given everything. As I said, it's not too hard once you know how to do it. But you also need a lot of concentration. That's why it take me time. Also, there's parts that aren't explained yet about TDUF (like what all the values in the perf packs mean and what are their effects on the pack itself), so there's also a part where you have to "explore". I do hope that you won't remove those. I like learning how to do this, even if it take me LOTS of time, as I mentionned, BAD concentration on my side; kinda like a dog that play ball and is about to give it you back, but then drop the ball when he see a squirel.
  4. I figured out what I did wrong actually, but I forgot to say I did. I'm sorry to have taken a little bit of your time. Tho, I do hope that your answer will help others.
  5. So, I'm trying this again, as last time I forgot to metion one important thing. I have no traffic. No, it's not invisible. It's plainly not there. Yes, I did FPS the game so it stay equal to or under 60FPS (tho it tend to do 60-61 FPS). Tried the clean database that came in the patch, in case I screwed up something when putting cars in Platinum 1.12, but nope, same result. I'm also using Project Paradise launcher. Anybody may know the problem, OR may point me to a thread that deal with this problem and how to fix it? Thank you.
  6. Search the thread, it seems Mili did answer this question at least once prior to the 19th of April of 2019. She doesn't seems to want to repeat herself and I don't really have the time to do that search for you.
  7. Did you only use the 1.12 patch? If so, you need to get the original Platinum patch, then patch it to 1.12, as 1.12 don't have all the files needed to run Platinum, but only the files needed to fix the problems in previous versions.
  8. Use TDUF. I'm doing something like this right now. It's easy, yet complicated. You need a LOT of concentration (which I lack). You also need to make new entries for almost everything you add. As for adding brands, I think I read somewhere that it was not possible yet.
  9. Did you install Platinum? 'cuz the 1.12 patch is only a patch to the 1.0 version. If you don't install the 1.0 version first, then you don't get every files
  10. Hmm... So for some reasons now, I don't have any traffic cars showing up. Like at all. They're not invisible. Just not there. Tried the original 1.12 database in case I had fucked something up trying to get cars in, but no. They're not there as well. I do see other players. Well, when there are other online that is. Any idea why I don't see the traffic anymore?
  11. Will this ever get finished, or is it abandonned?
  12. So, I'm trying to add to the database a rim that do not exist in it yet. Put it in the Ford folder, which is in the vehicles folder itself being in the bnk folder, in euro, in TDU main folder. I used the mapping tool, made it look for what was missing in the database, then add what was missing in the database. Everything worked as far as I understand. Now, HOW do I find them in the database with TDUF? The rim database had 4719 entries, so I thought it would add another one for my new rims, but nope. IF I have to add that entry myself, how do I tell the database that I want to use the rims I have added? I haven't seen something that ask for a path to find the file in the folder or anything. Anybody can help here? Thank you.
  13. Most likely your databank got corrupted. I think you can fix it with this tool. Else, re-install a clean copy.
  14. Hey, Milli. Just a question. For addon cars, when I add their base rims to the database, should I use the rims category or the TDUCP rims option category? wouldn't want to mess up the database. Thanks.
  15. @Djey Hi. I'm trying to understand your program for the perf. packs. I asked a question a little bit above the question you answered today on this page. I guess you didn't see it. Would it be possible for you to answer? Thank you.
  16. Ok, some questions. Basically, car packs are made out of 3 level per packs, which TDUF call Tuning Package. Now, there's info in the pack for the three level of the car, aka default, pack 1, pack 2, pack 3. Under pack 1 to 3, we have price, acceleration, etc and what tuning package it needs to "call". That I understand. But in the tuning package, you got these: Pack_ID --> Self explanatory. Pack_Name --> again, self explanatory Then: Speed_ratio Power_ratio Acceleration_ratio Free_ratio CX_Ratio Weight_ratio Suspension_ratio Braking_ratio Now, should I tweak each of those values for each package, or only tweaking the packs is what's needed. IF I need to tweak the entries in the tuning packages, what are they for and what numbers should I not go over or under? Thank you for answering.
  17. Hey, Milli. BTW, saying that I got my upgrade packs to work on the addon car I put in the game. That said, I think I have an older version of Platinum. IF I want to use the newest version, can I keep the databank with my "mod", or do I have to use the new one and re-install everything I did thus far? Thanks.
  18. Hello. Now that I'm having more time to figure out modding and all, I'm dabbing into this once again, but I got confused. What is "Car_File_Name_Swap" in the carpack default part of the program and what is it used for? Also, I've noticed that most pack use TRAFFIC Compact 1, in the "Model Change" field. Does that mean that when I toy with those settings, and create something new, I have to use this value as well?
  19. Just telling me that the increase is made in % actually help understand a little bit more. I don't have as much time as I'd want to learn all of this, 'cuz I'm preparing to move. But I'm looking at it when I have a little free time.
  20. The car is a Ford, so it should work. The problem I had, is when I did the perf. pack, it somehow turned all of the car's data that I had added back to TDU Custom car 1. Which I don't get. Do I have to create entries in the database for each level of the pack I make?
  21. Hi. Is this still active? If so, is it possible for you to help me figure out how to make performance packs? Thank you.
  22. Since the site was re-worked like last year or so, all the links in the first thread you link to lead to "page doesn't exist" page. Second one is working since it's newer, I think I may be able to find what I want, at least for the wheels. Tho, since TDUPE doesn't seems to work correctly anymore in editing the database, I used TDUF, but with TDUF, I don't understand how you can create and add a performance pack, so that you can "upgrade" the car using TDUF.
