  1. I love our "weekly sounds" by you!
  2. Hi Meelee! Petrolhead ask me to ask you if you could add those very juicy billboards into next TDU update you will release, however, he will no longer play with me, sorry, but, I had to ask! Besides, see the positive point for you (& other potential girls playing TDU Platinum), when you will cruise with "boys", you will beat them easily when they will see that & crash!
  3. Your current best CGT's sound submitted! Nice! Now we will need a better model with deployable spoiler on the windows key! Meantime, a few things, the idle sound is very loud (& also almost sounds like a plane sound!), well, I am not against, but, the reviving one is not loud enough compared to it, especially from onboard view, this should be louder, like a ears breaker! Hahaha! I know you told me before some high volume settings are set up elsewhere, but maybe you can rise up the sound volume itself on your sample.
  4. Your last "own sounds" are good! I got the feeling either you used better samples or/and improved your recording methods. But petrolhead told me this sound could be used for more cars using same engine, like the SLS AMG, or C63 Black Series. Probably much more Mercedes using same naturally aspired V8 engine could use this sound (need to check TDU's list), so probably update/replace to a "Mercedes AMG V8 sound pack" or something like! We can easily found this on wikipedia, despite Mercedes cars range is large... But take care to do not mess with the AMG twin-turbo V8 usually put on more recents cars (AMG GT series for example) for dumb shit modern rules...
  5. Fortunately the GTS is the one used in-game, the GTB (no targa version) does not seem to exists, or this is switchable via tune but me who have all Ferraris normally, I did not have it.
  6. Nice, but you forgot renaming the "copia" file into GTB name! Despite this is not a "fast Ferrari", this sound almost changes everything, much more enjoyable! Cool! Thanks!
Good, so every X short weeks, we can expect some minor update which keep us motivated to follow this & upgrade our Platinum build! Just like Reymondox releasing his new sounds we languish every week, now we gonna languish your updates! Hehehehehe! Also, I am aware by someone, that you released after the v1.21, a short patch which apparently fixed Aventador 720-4 tune availability & maybe other things, but someone told me you released it only on that discord thing, could you put it here too? I do not have it. EDIT #1: Fuck, stil mega.nz shit uploading host. Seriously use another one, like uptobox. I can host on mine & give you link to it, or, on a VPS I have if you O.K., but I guess not. EDIT #2 (2023-02-01): So, where is the suite? The next update with 2 small changelog lines? In one year? "without massive waiting times" -> I am wondering why you launch this and "give us hope about we will have frequent new content", if you are not even capable to "speed up those tiny updates"... Kind of false hope.
  7. The decelerating sound of the C12 needs a change (it is almost like the sound of a little plane we hear in TDU)! Too much difference between accelerating one, besides it is unpleasant, I personnaly put your F/Cinque's one instead, because I could not tolerate it longer while cruising! I think you could keep the C12's accelerating one as it is, but put the F's decelerating one on it.
  8. GOOD GIRL!!!! YEAHHH! I hope you will try to do that to the most amount of cars you can, this improves experience & gives us the possibility to watch "accurate" inboard odometer speed view rather than classic TDU's speed on the right. Because, when it is wrong, I do not feel to watch it at all. But, are you only refering to cockpit's odometer fix, or, both cockpit & odometers from others views? And about fixing tachymeters? Is this included?
Whaaa, for some reasons I was not much convinced by the sounds from the videos, and so, I did not installed the pack, but Petrolhead told me I should try on Aventador because he said "it is good & variant", & I did, & I loved it, especially on tunnels! Hehehe!
  9. Well, if the tachymeter/odometer problem is model-related I get it, since modellers "gone"! Or maybe trying to be in touch with some probably still active like "rulez" could be a solution to fix a bunch of things on models (like changing rear spoiler opening from lights while it should be from window in the goal to let others see it, etc.). I explained about the gear ratio that when I changed only one, it changed all gears ratios in-game & put them longer, while I only modified the 7th via TDUF. I will try again later, but as I said, this was fucked up. My demands are like "requests" in my mind (things to put in her "to do list"), this is more my tone which sounds like "exigences" maybe for you & others, not the original intention. But you should not try to teach me the "volonteers stuff part" when I previously purposed her to give money for my requests & she refused... For me she should take such opportunity & not refuse... Especially knowing the today shit conjuncture in this world... Besides, I can not really contribute since various things must be done by one person, I could try to deal with TDUF, adjust a new database step by step more realistic, & send to her, but she will probably not replace her current own already different, etc., and also knowing we seem to have a different vision. I also worked hundred of hours on the past on other projects and for free, but right now I just do not want to invest anymore, I play that game for distracting, I just see it has still potential to be better & more realistic, even for its age, & Milli has apparently good knowledge to adjust some of the things, so I request/demand, & even purpose money for such, I do not see much the problem, I am probably one of the rare who purposed to offer some money for such so.
  10. I did not study how the whole game works, but I do not think the alignement of the tachymeter & odometer values compared to the maximum setting & TDU's white speed on the right, are model-related, more something on the data to adjust, or am I wrong? Well, I use Windows XP, TDUF does not work on it, and I already tried it on Win7, for example, to modify the abused long 7th gear of a car like the F12 tdf, but when I replaced the modified file in my main PC, all the gears were affected while I only modified the 7th ratio, so I did not wanted to bother much if the program does not works well or else. Besides, my demands can satisfy other people & I like when all the other users can enjoy the fixes/changes, not only me. LIke, if a new car which had a crappy sound, got a new sound, I like when other people can also hear it, this also improves their experience, because they can enjoy it while driving with me (like if you walk on a street & hear a Ferrari's sound close to you, this is not yours, but you enjoy it!). Also, I do not like to modify too much things like if we race with same car on some track & cie, this feels like cheat or unequal, despite this is more a cruise game than a serious race one like Assetto Corsa. I feel TDU a good game for such age, compared to others, & when cars are well made (model, physics, sound), we can have a good pleasure with, but I like realistic & quality stuff, & the game has potential to provide such, that's why I sometimes insist on some demands like that, my tone is like that but I expect more Milli put that in her "to do list" if she interested, but I also offered some money on the past but she refused... TDU is a good & "almost rare" open world car game, I am also a bit sad not enough people willing to work on it, but at least there are some, & players in-game!
  11. I did not asked to fix for all cars, despite I will love it! Just for each new car you add & take time to build physics, if you could also check each view & adjust properly tachymeter & odometer for them. I feel boring to be inboard view for example, see the speed at the tachymeter displaying 160 km/h, & see TDU down-right speed displaying 200... When the speed & revs displayed are correct, I like to look at them while playing, for "realism/experience", I consider this a bit important, but if this is a little pain (or too long) for you to adjust this so be it! PS #1: Just discovered with petrolhead there are TDU custom cars Ferrari SF90 & Porsche 935, just models apparently, no physics, but will be nice to have those on next/final update! PS #2: And you need to rework 991 GT3 [RS] physics, then change so long 911 R's gear ratios (put the same as the GT3s). Also, 911 R's physics are different than the GT3's & much better & enjoyable, I think you should grab 911 R's ones, then improve braking & handling/turning for the ones of the GT3s... (I mean, base the 991 GT3 [RS]'s physics from the R). 991 GT3 RS should be as efficient on cornering & braking than the 911 GT2 RS (991), & even slightly better braking from 200<->250 to 0, since car is lighter (also checkable via webstats), even turning. 991 GT3's are too "static" & not enough efficient on "track", with assist off the car barely slips out... not enough fun. Real life GT3s are freaking track beasts!
  12. But it could at least be done to each new cars you add! Not to make you mad "again"! Test each view & control speed on the tachymeter compared to TDU's one on the down-right!
Nice addition, now we can do runs from the yellow marks! But I think adding 1000m mark, or maybe some boards on the side to indicate distance (400m, 800m, 1000m) will be appreciable. Also, I found a bug (not sure if it was present before your patch), but, on the other direction (from right to left of the map), and, on the left side (at the left of the middle white line), we can collide an invisible wall! Will be cool in the future if you could extend the track, if possible of course! With the Chiron SS + drag we can hit 493km/h right now! Need a few 100m mores to bypass 500 gap! Hahaha! Will be cool to see you back with other environment projects!
This one is more a success than the CGT's one (the CGT's one needs to be more hoarse)! But not exactly like the real life one. Good to know you figured out how to convert real sound samples!
  13. For some who want an alternative download link (direct), here (uptobox). If Milli or other mods/admins do not want those links feel free to delete my post! Or, feel free to use those links as alternative ones in your main topic (I am not gonna remove the files anytime soon!). @Milli: What the hell are those 288 GTO so long gears?! Want to slipstream & follow a Chiron or what? You also modified 812 SF, limiter is now at ~8k while it was good before (8.9k/9k). Besides, on inboard view the last red dot is missing (except when we downshift out of max RPM). Probably you adjusted this due to the tachymeter being red from 8k, but no!! That is the 488 Pista you must have "touched" (missing last red dot, inboard position too close to the steering wheel, hitting 9k RPM while it should be ~8k, like the 488 GTB which is correct), not the 812 SF, or, on the 812 SF, makes it more "slippery" (because it does not much compared to the F12 Berlinetta). And, why you did not reduced so long 7th gear of it? But! I noticed you removed "turbo sound" on the Cayman GT4! Good! I do not know what source you use as reference to adjust cars specifications, but using other cars games is not a good one! Use real life videos where we can see the tachymeter & odometers well, or, some good reference websites (like zeperf.com, accelerationtimes, etc.).
  14. Ah, I can see there is a changelog! Nice! But, if I can say something, for the future, you should "sort" it, either via three categories (like "Fixes/Changes", "Removal", "Additions"), or either per "type" (like "Environment changes", "Cars changes", "Bikes changes", "Various changes"), and, list "things" at the suite properly, not in mess, I mean, like all the "Removed cars" together, the "Added cars" together, etc.. This way, it will be simpler for the people to read & understand it, then easily locate something they care about (as example, I guess most of the people search for "new cars", the "Added car X/Y"! Haha!). Also simple to test in-live the changes, for example, I have the game opened & your changelog too, I go back to Windows via shortcut key to look at it, then go back to the game & test a few things I have just read (like new cars, reworked physics). I took the freedom to convert your changelog to a "better format", below is a demo (a few things has been adjusted/simplified/fixed & I also sorted cars by alphabetic order, then added Opel Speedster Turbo): Feel free to read it, control it then use/replace it on the official build (or, at least here if you do not want to update your archive with it). Also, it will also be "nice" to only provide modified & new files on the update package, because it sounds more you provided a big part of your game "as it is" (like all the +1000 vehicles sounds, where I had to replace mine above due to the loss of new ones from Reymondox's & cie)... I do not know how you work or if this is just the "speedup process" in this update, but you should have a separated TDU "working" folder, where you put each modified & added file in it, in the right paths properly builded, and the "removed ones" can properly remains in the users's folder if the game update is programmed to no longer use them, not a problem! Because right now it is a bit like a "butched" patch where you did not bothered to sort anything! It will also be nice to use new submitted sounds (Reymondox's & others), but maybe it is more scheduled for the future update v2.0, while now you released that you have done "as it is", in such case I get it!
  15. From that I heard, she might try to set up a torrent for the file, since it is big (+5GO).
  16. Oh Milli! Oh yes Milli!!!!! Ohhhh I am gonna ... be more happy while playing the game! But a few things: #1: I am unable to download the file, I can not under XP & Firefox I use, then if I try another browser as workaround, I have an issue with that mega thing website you use for hosting. Besides this mega.nz is annoying, it does not seem good for me. Is there any way you can upload it elsewhere? I have an uptobox account I can give you the identifiants as "gift" if you wish, then you will upload it, then download that you want on such without limits! Uptobox is (unlike most of the other similar websites, where people often use to host games, music, TV shows, movies...), really "cool/generous" about limits & download speed for non-members. I also have a VPS I can host the file on it & you can use it as alternative download, but I will understand you disagree about the "question of trust" since this is "not you" who will upload it on it. #2: I know it seems to be a "speed-up update", but a changelog (as before) would have been welcomed! But well, this is already nice you are among the rares still around to provide an updated content when most of the people "gave up the boat" in a lot of areas! EDIT: Oh yes, there is a changelog! #3: Please!!! Create a list per brand of the specials cars we can get via tuners, like "Ferrari FXX (tuned via Ferrari Enzo)", etc., a complete list (like there is on another website) will be welcomed, but I guess you might not be motivated to write 800+ cars! I know you already explained on the past "your reasons", but the main reason why I am asking such is because this is very boring to buy a car & wondering which one we can have via tune, I know there is the surprise effect you want to create, but there are a bunch of base cars, and, me, I cheated the money like some others, but for the ones who do not know about it or just do not want to do it & get money by redoing challenges again & again, when they buy a car, if they do not like it, try a tune, then no specific conversion for it, they can sell it, but HALF of the price from the house, so they loose money... pretty boring...
  17. Yeah but you paid them & convert them (or you can at worse say it is racedepartment's one while it is not, since the port might change a bit, besides, that is not a song!). I think you might have the right to do it. Is there something specific written about the "licence", if, there is? If nothing is specified, you can do that you want normally. Also, you make it free for TDU (& also readapt/modify it, so no longer original file), not for Assetto, people who want them for assetto will still need to pay them, since your file is "for TDU". Then come on! We want the best of best to make this old open world game better! EDIT: I just took a look at the web page, I see they cost 6€, so, remains reasonnable, & I do not see any specific licence/rights, so you can do that you want normally, you just pay for "download it" (& for the modified work on them), that's all. If you can port them well (if you sure you can do it & make them render almost like or like Assetto), I think people here could donate to you (me first), so you buy them, like we all contribute... Or, some buy the sounds they want, then give them to you & you port, but to avoid multiple people buying same file it might be simpler & economic to donate to you & you allocate some money for the sound & your work. But I also doubt people "wanted to pay" is gonna rush nowadays! But I just wish to know if you fully sure to be able to port any of them we might buy (or ask you) & send to you. Personnaly, I can buy a few, in first, the 458 Stage3 Straight Pipes , 812 SF & GT3 RS. But there is the question of what variation among the usually 3 provided you use for TDU, how you do? Does TDU can handle the three or it is just one with changed pitch by the game depending on the view or windows opened?
