  1. just to correct you, they now repair E74 just like they do with RRoD, they extended the warranty of that to 3 years too now.
  2. that's beyond retarded, if they were sexist they wouldn't all worship sabine... they should tell that daft bitch to shut the hell up and be grateful her husband lets her out of the kitchen every now and again to pretend she has a real job :D
  3. why do so many people dislike the S type? :( i think it was quite nice looking, there again i thought that about the rover 75 too... e: 2000th post =^.^=
  4. right, something in the air for you, but EVERY car posted on page 9 is either gorgeous or meh, you're all wrong :p even that little dinky car didnt offend my eyes that much, seriously, you guys are clutching at straws. there ya go, and have some more fiat for good measure.
  5. down here we have one college (yale college) but it's split into two, the main bit deals with the more academic subjects, (not specifically the academic route of teaching though) such as maths, science, english, DT, music, sports sciences, whatever, most BTECs at grove road (the bit i'm in) are courses that are lightly covered by A level equivalents (there's a AS music tech, and BTEC music tech) and as i said i'm more proficient than the academics in music tech (able to fully mic up a recording session with a suitable array of mics I think i get what you mean about the idiots, alot of them went to the other bit of the college where they deal with mechnics and electrical installation etc. but AFAIK most the morons drop out of there anyway when child support costs get too high... the courses are still damn hard though, one of my best friends does electrical installation and the calculations he has to do are ridiculously mind boggling. but anyway, long and short of it... a proper 6th form? staying in the same building i had been trying to leave for 5 years would never happen, the friends ive made and the experiences ive had thanks to being able to put the crappest years of my life away have made me the happiest person i've ever been.
  6. 6th form sounds like crap to me, all the joys of sharing a building with the imbeciles you tried to get away from for 5 years and none of the experiences of meeting great new people. and less hate for the BTECs please, there's more skill in it that A levels in my opinion (I did A levels last year) and although the work load is seemingly less on vocational courses i'm 10 times as proficient in my area than A level equivalents. and the better for jobs is bollocks, unless you go into higher ed then you're going to be employed for your specialised practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. and going into higher ed is just as easy anyway, as UCAS goes A levels and BTECs are pretty much point for point, at a recent UCAS showing in the local uni i found that pretty much every uni will accept you with a two distinctions and a merit.
  7. i'd be pissed off if they only covered brawn and red bull, sure (what is this, the WRC? where the 2 fastest AND ONLY the 2 fastest get airtime) but they dont, red bull and brawn duke it out upfront but the cameras spend loads of time out towards the middle of the pack where the action was happening, especially in the chinese GP, where McLaren, Torro Rosso, Renult, Force India, ferrari were changing places like mad for the small points. there was loads of coverage of the stuff and it made for great racing!
  8. finally watched it all and very big comiserations to sutil, he was racing a blinder until his accident. ferrari really must be so downhearted now though, even scuderia Torro Rosso (who also have a fezzer engine) have points... fair play to buemi for his efforts.
  9. for all anyone knows there may be a new MG works team under najing, i mean, where else better to show that the cars are winners? it seems to be working for team lada in WTCC
  10. as cities go my favourite is chester, it's got nice architecture, a good pace of life in the city centre, and some genuinely alternative shops. sure, britain is a hole but there's some beauty left in old blighty yest, you just have to go where there's no people :P i love driving my bike up into the welsh hills because the views are brilliant, really breathtaking. you have to see some of the views to believe them, the paths up around afon glasyn are great.
  11. my errr, cab. got rid of the widebody kit and got it looking near enough stock again. kept the momo, rims and the whitewalls though :p usually put on some offspring and pretend to be playing crazy taxi. for the 3, 2 1, i start saying 'hey hey hey, it's time to make some craaazay money. are ya ready?... heeere weeee go!' and a random pic on the bike [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 800w x 640h or more than 350KB in filesize, use a thumbnail or a text link instead. And don't edit my edits out again. Thanks! for christ's sake it was 40 px over...
  12. Another bout of terrible weather on the track today, haven't had time to watch the whole thing but the highlights were amazing. 1 - 2 finish for red bull racing though! very happy as the team i'm supporting has finally got some points! hard luck on the fezzers, not a single point all season thus far! they really need to pick their game up :s they can't cry about diffusers either because sunday's champs didn't have it either.
  13. got lfs S2 now, having lots of fun failing with the H-shifter :P as nipper well knows
  14. leave it nipper, i tried around christmas-time and failed. oh, and pastafarianism probably is real :P the facebook group alone has over 72,000 members =D i know what i'm putting on my census anyway [mod edit:] No need for some of the comments, removed.
  15. theres a thrustmaster that has a clutch and is around the £70 mark but apparently it has reliabilty issues, and only 270 degrees of rotation
  16. aetheism is not the way forward, join together to worship the flying spaghetti monster, for he created the world in one day (unlike your heratic 'god' who supposedly was lazy and took 6) and spent another 3 days creating the universe (It's a big place after all) and then rested for 3 days. he is the bringer of the midgit (that doth be the correct way) some trees and a mountain. repent now and be sent to eternal heaven, where there are volcanoes of beer and a stripper factory. oh, and every friday is a religious holiday. Join with his noodley appendages RAmen
  17. may try and find a friend with a PS£ so i can play th err, demo...? (prologue)
  18. just leave it, as balto said, believers have faith (in a badly translated, thousands of years old book that has been edited countless times)and no amount of rational thinking will change that. i claim belief in flying spaghetti monster. all who oppose me shall perish in hell. (and hence miss out on the volcanoes of beer and the stripper factory in heaven)
  19. lets see, i may aswell list the games i've loved on the 360 really. PGR3 Geometry wars (=D) TDU Rainbow 6 Vegas Forza 2 Call of Duty 4 GTA IV Fallout 3 and on the PC all i can think of is World in Conflict (which is just awesome)
