  1. please tell me one of you guys played toy commander or toy racer on the dreamcast... the RC track reminded me of it SOOO much! there was one level that was a race that was REALLY like that
  2. right, i'm a bit of a purist when it comes to headphones, and in-ear jobs muck about with the sound, including bass boosters etc (satan's gift to music) so if it's home and school then i'd suggest over-ear ones For college (I do music so i need good quality ones) I use Grado SR-60's They give a bright, defined and warm sound. try listening to some lossless music with lots of subtleties (i'm listening to the doors with them right now) and you just are awakened to a new world of sound. you can get them for about £55 if you look around any old ones will do for sport i suppose. my in-ear phillips were about £15 from argos and they do the job fine. they fit firmly and block out outside noise. they are reliable too as they havent broke for over a year of heavy use
  3. happy smurfday doorman! i am firin mah lazor in your honor
  4. The Jag XK convertible is one of the nicest i've seen in a long time, we had a rare sunny day today (W00T) and i saw one topless *drool*
  5. ah, south by southwest, a guy in my class is going there with his band the lucky sod. all expenses paid... they aren't even that good >.> and the lead singer (polly mackey) is a typical highschool tart who bullied my closest friends in school.
  6. I am holding the earth ransom for... ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!
  7. Who

yes we do :p and a GF would be nice but here women have eyes... making things difficult :p

    1. just as bad as mine, when my name was LwsBrck it was just my name minus the vowels :p LeWiS BRoCK at first i thought the name twm was a welsh word :p it looks like one :p (the welsh for moose, for example, is mws)
    2. PRS, in a nutshell are money huggers, i did write an elaborate posts but i got an '808 BALDY IS ON DUTY, RUN FOR THE HILLS!' type message and lost it :( anyway, PRS is the body that takes royalty for playing a song and dumps it in the hands of the original artist. PRS licenses are anything from £200 a year for a small corner shop to several thousands for an office This is just for the right to play music of all things. from the article, it looks like PRS thinks the license fee youtube payed last year is insufficient, and has hiked the price quite considerably... because they are momey huggers. in return, youtube has said 'ok, fine, we wont pay any license and wont have any music' now, PRS is going to have to hope that people who LEGALLY watched the videos, (and subsequently see the link to iTunes and then buy the music legitimately) will just be like 'oh ok then' and will not download the music illegally instead... yeah, PRS has made a stupid move and has shot itself in the foot, i reckon the Musicians union is going to give them quite a slap...
    3. Nowadays i think it's blown over, but i can remember a point where all the major ones were on their knees, in particular http://www.bassmasta.net was on it's knees (i'm a bassist) My main tab site now is http://www.ultimate-guitar.com it'd really good
    4. You know what, i'm finding it harder and harder to be enthusiastic about going into this industry when there is nothing but money pinching CONSTANTLY in force over the music. PRS is a stupid organization that supposedly gives money to an original author when it is played publicly. it's a nice idea but when you dive a bit deeper. PRS is the organization that charges £200 a year just so that you can play a radio in a shop. It's pathetic. I wonder if these people realize that there's now iTunes links on videos. And there's advert money, and youtube gives money to the labels for the plays. this is sheer penny pinching and it just follows the lead of other petty attempts to make money by shooting itself in the foot. Some other things to think over. Does anyone remember the coldplay X & Y album with the ridiculous DRM? The labels trying to take down lyrics and tab sites http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4508158.stm and warner whinging that they dont get enough from youtube http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7795157.stm here's a little suggestion for anyone musicians thinking that they need the extra money: hire an agent arrange a tour publicize it get tour money easy.
    5. stupid gold members only deal! i'm renewing in april (birthday) i want this DLC pack quite a bit, i've gotten into PGR4 again quite alot recently, and you can't argue with 240pts
    6. I actually really liked it, i play have big feet (size 11) so i have to play without shoes, but i find it fine, the wheel rests nicely on your lap too. unfortunately build quality is quite lacking. My wheel: Wobbly steering column FF dead zone Buzz when using the headset squeeky brake wonky upshift ABXY buttons only respond if wheel is bashed =/ the latest one is the final straw for me. i'm gonna open it up and try sort the electrics of the face buttons. i'm going to buy no M$ peripherals from new, cause i'm not giving them my money for crap. i should be getting a PS3 at christmas anyway
    7. happy birthday again twm! =D i saw my last post and was quite confused until i saw the year :p

      1. did you see the link about apple? there we go, apparently we're all pagans and atheists for knowing stuff about computers! and if you're using the open source firefox, or chrome, or any other open source browser you're all communists! also, i use a mac, where are my lick-able buttons? they all taste a bit crap to me :p fail
      2. The player controls the Master Chef who in a surprise twist turns out to be more than just a military cook... he's also a super soldier (I think this was the plot of a Steven Seagal movie I saw before I was born again, only that was set on a Navy ship and he fought terrorists instead of aliens. But it's the same general idea.) It's a war game, so there's lots of violence, but it's against aliens (God hasn't said anything yet about aliens, so I guess that's morally acceptable for now). However, the alien forces are called "the Covenant" and are depicted as having strong religious values and a desire for Salvation, so they are undoubtedly a reference to Christians. LOL! a simple typo (MASTER CHIEF) makes them think he is a kitchen workers, how do these pathetic inebriates understand how to use a computer!? hahahahahahah
      3. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/geneva-2009-swiss-misses/1409087/ that one is well hawt! also you can see someone taking a picture of her arse in the background :p

      7. hey man, it's a pleasure to have you back! glad you're still good and that your alfa isn't being you know, an alfa. (I.e. you can still drive it, it's not an the side of the A55 with a broken everything :p) hopefully we see the arse end of this recession very soon, most people i know are having it quite hard about now. good luck to you, and good luck to their friends, i hope they find new jobs soon.
      8. just for kicks, generally with games like this the screwed up stuff is the player's mental nature, not the game's encouragement.
      9. if you look at the attendees list, Atari is at the next E3, and they're having a booth AND a meeting room =D i think they may have something big to show reviewers ;) considering big companies like bethesda only have a booth too.
