  1. Is it a hatchback? Yes, albeit the hatch opens with the rest of the rear of the car :p Is it hot? Yes, look, they even painted that one in red to prove just how red hot it is! Carlos' pic is staying :p
  2. Are they doing it by brand or nuh? I know there's a loose theme around each garage week but :hmmm: Putting an XFR-S but no F-Type (AFAIK)? Odd one!
  3. Yup, I'd say this is by far the highest quality week. Going to be hard to narrow it down to 3 choices.
  4. I understood and respected your opinion until you put this :p I'm not sure you can say that it is true for the majority of the time like that, it's a very bold claim without much to back it up. Also: #youdontputpunctuationinhashtagsyouamateur
  5. Nope, not that scot, that scot or that scott, but your resident Aberdeen Angus (I'm hungry, there'll be a burger theme in all my posts tonight), Calster17! :birthday: ¡¡Happy 23rd Birthday!! :birthday: I'm looking forward to reading all your drunken messages that will no doubt be posted in the chatbox sometime in the early hours of Wednedsay morning :p
  6. I meant price-wise :p The R8 V10 Plus costs around £130k in the UK, I can't imagine a brand new, specced and imported Viper would come in at much less than that at all. My point was that the Viper has a giant engine, looks much more exotic on british roads and would genuinely feel 3-4 x more expensive to other people. Audi R8 V10 Plus has 602bhp, so I wouldn't use the words 'eats up' :p Other than the ACR, I think i'd put my money on the R8 to 'eat up' the Viper around a track too.
  7. True, but when comparing it to a Corvette I can't imagine you'd need to spend $10-15k to try and get it to Corvette level spec for tech etc? I imagine they're quite evenly matched already?
  8. That is such a good spec. The viper really is worth the import cost and EU inflation over here tbh, it's so rare and exotic and if you pulled up in front of 99% of people in Europe in the above car, and they heard the sound, and you told them it had an 8.4L V10 (the word hemi wouldn't mean anything to them) they'd think this car was worth 3-4 x what it actually cost. It wouldn't seem like an Audi R8 rival, more an Aventador etc imo.
  9. Yeah nice shot, good theme really, in that we'll be going from an F40 to a hothatch, always good to have a variation.
  10. I'd rather have the GTS tbh :hmmm: That rear wing ain't my kinda thing. (Rhymes lul).
  11. I'm surprised the behaviour of Lewis' strategists hasn't been questioned more after the race? To threaten the lead driver with losing first choice at the pit stop mid-race is crazy and so weird for Merc, LH's reaction came across a bit like 'why the hell would you do that? I dare you to do it, go on, I dare you'
  12. I still think I'd rather have an F-Type or a high specced Cayman instead though. Corvette Grand Sport pricing: $66,445 Porsche 718 Cayman S pricing: $66,300 Base spec Jaguar F-Type: $61,000 Of course one is much quicker than the other, but to me that doesn't matter.
  13. Strange post race conference.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLo0FqcthOE From about 8-13 mins the Quali Q3 double yellow flag incident is discussed. Kinda awkward for them both to be saying what they're saying when they're sat next to each other. Around the 16:55-17:10 mark something odd is happening, are they joking around or is it actually passive aggression underneath the smiles? Unsure, we'll never know haha Rosberg looks so so annoyed and peeved off throughout the entire thing, and he keeps making weird fish facial expressions throughout. Overall worth a watch
  14. Kinda dull race, not quite MEHHHHHH, but nothing to rave about and very forgettable. Glad Hammy won, good to see him leading Rosberg in the championship too. Didn't get to watch the post race things so unsure if there was any drama or talking points.
  15. Not checked this thread in quite a while and i'm pleasantly surprised in what i've just seen, the AI etc all look rather incredible and very different to what is on offer at the moment :) Hope everything is going okay behind the scenes as this seems rather promising!
  16. So that is almost 17k in GBP. :hmmm: Challenging one, so it does 0-60 in 6ish seconds? It has AWD, it's well built as it is a volvo? for 10 years old it has relatively low miles at 47k? I think I'd pass to be honest. Maybe for the US market it is a bargain but over in the UK, you'd definitely be able to get an A4/A6 Avant, C/E Class Estate, 3/5 Series Estate for that kind of money at that kind of mileage and probably not as old either tbh.
  17. Yeah I'm really impressed by my Android TV/Google Cast/Bluetooth tv thing, it's great. I was upstairs listening to music earlier and spotify notified me that I could connect to another device, the TV in the living room he was in  Gave my brother a bit of a scare with some very loud music earlier.
  18. Is this new engine for a future model? :hmmm: The Huayra still uses an AMG engine does it not? A modified M275 6.0L V-12.
  19. I guess when you're competing against Bugatti and Porsche, who are both funded by the juggernaut that is VW, Ferrari who are part of Fiat, McLaren who are rolling in da dollah etc I guess it is okay to call them the underdog yes. Their closest rival is Pagani I guess, and even they source their engines from Mercedes.
  20. PORSCHE 911 3.8 991 Targa 4 GTS PDK AWD 2dr (start/stop) Coupe for sale in Towcester | Auto Trader If this was a gunmetal grey colour instead of Black it'd literally be my perfect specced 991 911. Not sure i'd change anything else at all. So expensive >.<
  21. Even one sale being thrown into jeopardy would be huge for a company like Koenigsegg, it makes sense really.
