  1. Jeeez it only feels like 10-12 weeks ago that we were making the threads for E3 2016 and having them ignored (j/k :cheeky:), how is it E3 2017 already :hmmm: Are we expecting a big year for hardware?
  2. Dan Prosser on Twitter: What does it do?! Headlights? Nitrous?
  3. I was going to config my own 812 Superfast but there was no point, other than perhaps toning down the blue in the interior a bit I don't think i'd change anything on F12's configuration, that thing is stunning.
  4. https://drivetribe.com/p/S-M0ZCjCQJKNd65Tu3yE_w?iid=d1r-v_EpQLiVmSBJw-o8IQ He's made a statement about it on drivetribe, doesn't sound as if it was that serious but I guess you can't be too safe considering how lucky he's been.
  5. TG just showed a Golf GTI clubsport overtaking a 911 turbo on a straight on the 'ring and expects us to think that actually happened. Corners? Maybe. But that segment was pure BS. It's ruined the episode for me.
  6. Done :) Didn't check who was winning before changing it either haha, I didn't even think of that :hmmm: Damn.
  7. Yikes.... and yikes: Nico Hülkenberg on Twitter:
  8. Yeah it was a good episode, the Alfa drift thing went on for way too long and it would have been a good opportunity to throw some other saloons around the track and put them on the board at the same time as the M3 (without showing the actual lap to save time), as I doubt they'll have many cars of that genre in the next 5 episodes. The Porsche - Lambo thing was what I expect of TG, I just wish they'd finally stop scripting parts that really don't need to be scripted, challenges should be genuine rather than faked (added drama thrown in just to even things out). - LeBlanc seems to have finally realised that after almost 15 years of trying his hardest to put Joey behind him, that that's all we want from him and you could see that from this episode, and it worked. - Reid hasn't really had the chance to shine yet, still haven't warmed to him. - Harris is being portrayed as quite a negative naggy bossy kinda guy which does work well on 15 min youtube videos, but from what I've heard he isn't that bad in person and can be a good laugh, they need to show all three of them having a laugh and bonding in less of a forced environment which is what CHM excelled at. I agree with you scott, something like a 24H of silverstone race, some endurance racing will show them all in a less forced/scripted environment that is out of their control to some extent and might show them bonding and getting along, it's exactly what they need tbh.
  9. Went for a more tasteful configuration on this, 90% of the options are making the car less track-focused and more of a daily driver, which kind of shows I doubt i'd get a GT3 if I happened to be shopping for a porsche rn.
  10. Has McLaren Broken Down? Much needed site nowadays, the McLaren has broken down twice this morning on track, with Alonso behind the wheel :ytwh: Today is the last day of testing before Melbourne, absolute shambles. If fixes aren't found before Melbourne, heads surely have to roll?
  11. My Panamera (4S ST) came up to around £155gbp, about £65k of that is options. Just looked on the NL config and the same car starts at £143k stock  No wonder yours was 100k more. Not sure i'd be bothered too much about getting the Turbo if it came to it, the 4S is plenty quick for an estate haha
  12. Absolutely crazy amounts of options on this Panamera 4S, probably more expensive than the options on the McLaren above :leaves:
  13. It is the final week of testing before Melbourne, there are two things worth noting from today: 1. Things are really not looking great at McLaren, Vandoorne was 25km/h off the front runners through the speed trap 2. Red Bull have debuted a new front wing design:

  15. Couldn't say it better myself, 100% agree with you on this. There's simply no need to care about which is better out of TG or TGT anymore, as we should just take for granted that we have 2 high-budget car shows that are worth watching (for the most part).
  16. Yes, that's all I have to say to this, yes. Of course it wasn't perfect, it will get good reviews, possibly exaggerated over the top reviews, but this trio seem to work well together, although I still haven't completely gotten used to Reid. This episode was better than a lot of the latest episodes of TGT, it wasn't better than it all, but it has every possibility of overtaking it. I'm glad TG is back, as this had made me realise just how bad some vlog channels are, this completely beats them into submission. I hope this will give Clarkson, Hammond and May the correct kick up the arse to fix what was wrong with TGT :)
  17. Might work in addition to what we currently have Ry, but I don't think it works as a replacement.
  18. Is this a replacement for the Boxster, which was itself a replacement for an MX-5? :p Much prefer this colour MX-5 to that silver-grey of your last one, what else is different? :D
  19. I'm just not sure i'll ever warm to someone who has their nickname embroidered on every single piece of clothing they own. I'm sure he's an alright guy but I just think his content isn't worth watching for a few reasons. A lot of it comes down to how he and a few other vloggers act as if they're really providing an amazing life changing experience to viewers, 'this is for you' etc, it's not, you're getting rich off of it, don't sugar coat it. Also worth looking at is exactly what @Milli was highlighting in the chatbox a few days back, there are a few suspicious things surrounding the Hurucan Superformante 'ring lap time: BLOG: Did Lambo that laptime? | BridgeToGantry.com
  20. Yaaas some drama in the world of automotive youtube: Vehicle Virgins trashed my RX-7 and I guess Im okay with it. - YouTube Rob Dahm is in the Rob Ferretti / Matt Farah / Jalop / TheDrive kind of group, whereas Vehicle Virgins manages to be a more annoying Shmee if that is possible.
  21. BMW i8 soft top spotted, looks like it'll be a targa type car: Images from http://www.carbuzz.com
  22. Agreed. The physical switches on the touchscreen are a fantastic idea, very similar to the way people have physical dials on digital speedometers in some cars. The combination of digital and physical is much better as you then avoid the tacky awfulness that is the interior of any Tesla. I've been very underwhelmed by the interior design of Land Rovers and Range Rovers recently, although the build quality is top notch I just think they've lagged behind in updating anything, this is a huge step in the right direction. The thing about the Velar is that no one has used the word concept and that it is meant to go on sale this summer, so I presume everything we've seen (including the inset door handles) will be going on the final production version, fingers crossed.
  23. March almost never fails to impress when it comes to car launches :D Auto Express | New and Used Car Reviews, News Advice Yes please.
  24. Very. Best of friends supposedly. There is a saying in Premier League football, if a football club comes out and says they have full confidence in the team's manager and support them fully, it usually means that the manager will be sacked within a month. I'm hoping a similar rule applies to Honda here. The only issue is that these cars are designed so closely around an engine that i'm not sure how feasible it is to put another power unit in it.
  25. Bit unnecessary but that's exactly what you want on a supercar :nods: Nice. Here are shots of the new RR Velar: Image from Auto Express | New and Used Car Reviews, News Advice So this is Range Rover's F-Pace, bigger than the Evoque but smaller than the RR Sport. I think i'd take it over either. --- Post Updated --- :panic: This looks amazing. Bloomberg have accidentally broken the embargo on the new 720s not due to be broken until next week. It looks properly special from this angle. I'm unsure i'll like the front headlights but I don't think they'll be enough to ruin the car for me.
