  3. Logitech Driving Force GT - the official wheel of Gran Turismo 25 Jun Today Logitech announced the launch of Logitech Driving Force GT - the official wheel of Gran Turismo. The wheel connoisseurs amongst you will be excited to hear that the 11 inch Logitech Driving Force GT can turn 900 degrees from lock-to-lock, features a 24-position real-time adjustment dial for on-the-fly control of brake bias, traction and damper settings, and (perhaps most importantly) has a horn. It also has full-size accelerator and brake pedals, sequential stick shift gears and wheel mounted paddles. Read more on the GT fan’s dream wheel in the official press release below. Logitech Unveils Official Wheel of Gran Turismo™ for PLAYSTATION®3 Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel Delivers Powerful Force Feedback, Brake Bias and Traction Control Adjustment Today at the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC), Logitech (SWX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI), the world’s leading developer of force feedback gaming wheels, announced the Logitech® Driving Force™ GT racing wheel, the official wheel of Gran Turismo™. Featuring powerful force feedback and an innovative 24-position real-time adjustment dial for on-the-fly control of brake bias, traction and damper settings, the Logitech Driving Force GT gives gamers the most accurate and authentic PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) racing experience. “We’re excited to be working with Polyphony Digital again to deliver a wheel that will satisfy the needs of car enthusiasts, like me, around the world,” said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech’s director of product marketing for gaming. “People who love the striking realism of the Gran Turismo racing series will discover that Logitech’s latest wheel will allow them to experience the cars the way they were meant to be driven. With the Logitech Driving Force GT, you’re not playing games anymore - you’re racing!” Logitech’s latest racing wheel was meticulously designed by Logitech and Polyphony Digital, Inc., the developer of the Gran Turismo series. The companies worked together to add the unique real-time adjustment dial, a first for force feedback wheels, allowing people to fine tune the car’s balance by adjusting the brake bias, traction control and damper settings. Now Gran Turismo drivers can have precise control over the car’s setup to achieve maximum performance. “We have always designed the Gran Turismo series for driving enthusiasts. Realistic graphics, a technologically advanced physics engine and authentic sounds for every car in the game make Gran Turismo 5 Prologue a true driving simulator,” said Kazunori Yamauchi of Polyphony Digital. “Now, with the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel, drivers can have unparalleled control of their car, extending the realistic racing experience.” Logitech’s newest force feedback wheel simulates understeer, oversteer, and traction loss with frightening accuracy. While the full-size gas and brake pedals deliver precise throttle and brake response, racers can use either the sequential stick shift or the wheel-mounted paddles to race through gears. The wheel also features a large 11-inch wheel with rubber-overmould rim, providing exceptional comfort and control. The Logitech Driving Force GT turns 900 degrees lock-to-lock allowing drivers to navigate hairpin turns with greater accuracy. And with anti-backlash gearing, there is no slack in the steering response, making any race a smooth, realistic experience. In the centre of the 11-inch wheel, the Driving Force GT features an illuminated horn button with the official Gran Turismo logo. Using the authentic sounds of the car being driven, racers can quickly alert other cars when they are approaching fast. Or when playing online, people can simply use the horn to taunt other players as they speed by. The Logitech Driving Force GT wheel is engineered for use with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on PS3, which will be available on Blu-ray Disc™ (BD) and as a download on the PLAYSTATION®Network in North America on April 17 and in Europe on March 28. The Logitech Driving Force GT wheel is also compatible with Gran Turismo™3 and Gran Turismo™4 on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Source - threespeech
  4. Good idea, he isn't part oif the essed roadsters club is he as if he is I've probably seen it about. I was tempted for the 360 controller, but I left it. Its quite scary when you think about it, we have the same avatars and sound the same.

  5. Well at least you had the balls to apologise, to me personally and in the thread. Best thing to remember when posting on forums is that if you wouldn't say it face to face don't post it. ;)

  6. Hopefully mines gets back that quick
  7. I thought Burbury weren't "in" anymore
  8. That looks the nuts Hybrid but your not doing the car justice, the roof is in the wrong position ;)
  9. I know I should have got my backside into gear sooner. What did he win the prize for?? I or should I say we as it ain't my car ain't going to Silverstone but we're going to the MGfest again its moved to Gaydon at the Motor museum and we get free tickets to the Museum with the show so that should be interesting.
  10. It fiannlly went today, 43 days after it died, hopefully it gets back soon. An Alfa's meeting?? your be as sad as me and Shar soon and start taking it to shows.
  11. Right I think I might take the same vowel as Hybrid and Baldred and not post in F1 threads anymore, as some people like turning it into arguements about drivers. But to clear up a few things, Nige I was comparing an FIA desicion to others they have made in the past regarding the same fault on a vehicle not drivers, the end bit was my opinion. The same as I don't like Alonso, as his eyebrows offend me, (theres more to it than that). But I will credit these drivers when they do well unlike you with Hamilton and all you can say is that he is "lucky" or "he didn't deserve it" or some other rubbish. And another thing whilst I'm on a bit of a rant, you said Nige that if I don't like Kimi due to what he done to Sutil that I should tar Hamilton with the same brush. Now there is one floor in that arguement which is, you posted further down in the thread that the Kimi incident with Sutil was an accident, so, does that mean you should tar Hamilton with the same brush and write off his incident with Kimi as an accident?? or is this you practising double standards and trying to provoke other members of the forum into a pointless petty arguement about who the best driver?? As far as I'm concerned Nige if all you want to do is post all this fanboy rubbish and provoke people into pointless arguements you might aswell not post at all. Rant over, sorry if I have offended anyone.
  12. It don't look as nice as it did in the released photo's
  13. IIRC they said that Schumacher had it twice in his career at Ferrari, once he retired and another time he carried on to the finish and won. So in fact the FIA made the same desicion then so if they did black flag Kimi then it would have been double standerds perhaps. I ain't trying to stick up for Kimi as I have took a serious dislike to him since Monaco and the Sutil incident.
  14. I liked it when they take three supercars or normal cars will do out and sort of review them whilst driving the greatest roads or driving to that long birdge in france, or when May and Hammond done they minicabbing in the C max and another rival. Now its gone away from that totally, which is not a bad thing, but they need a healthy balance which I think they've lost.
  15. not only do I have to buy Uno I have to start drinking aswell??? Anything else I need to know??? lol
  16. Is it only me who thinks they are starting to go a bit OTT with trying to make it an eterainment show?? They had the right balance a while back but now every episode has to have a big challenge or big event or something of the like. Its starting to, dare I say, go down hill. Yes its good watching it and I love the presenters but it just wasn't as good as it used to be, especially as I've been watching old episodes on Dave and you can see how its become more about being bigger and more stupider challenges/events rather than about new cars, maybe it was just for the first show but I hope it improves. Also Stunt man Stig, why????????????????
  17. Well UPS are coming tomorrow to collect it, hopefully I'll have the same turn around time as Baldred. I take it when I get my box back I'll have to buy Uno then
  18. You've got more than one tho I hope??
  19. Lets hope its yours and not a recon
  20. At least the more likable Ferrari driver won
  21. For some reason I like N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose (All The Girls Standing In The Line For The Bathroom). Don't ask why coz i don't even know. [Haven't checked video to see if edited sorry in advance] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arZMBKbqs4k
  22. I talk to my car/van/whatever i'm driving at the time. Normally its when: Accelarating is: go go go, or come on you [enter words of choice]. Under braking is: stop or pls stop over and over agian if i'm heading towards something Yesterday was: please pass your MOT, you can do it, and it did suprisingly. and thats about it, its more comands rather than having a good chat with it. I think the worst culprits of this are people who have names for there car.
  23. Nodz86

    MOTW

I'm against it aswell, for reasons already mentioned. Also think of the work the mods/admin have to do, there'll be another avatar to change each week, another desicion to make each week, on top of changing/choosing the nugget, changing the PoTW and everything else mods/admin do.
  24. That was quick, you only sent it on Tuesday
  25. You mean 4th fastest?? Might catch the race today if I install my new arial in time. More worried about Silverstone and the strike action due to the inflatyion of there super lisence costs.
