    My French Tank

Not been in here in a while... I've decided to go in the OEM+ direction, so I removed most of the stickers and put an early model grille on it (smaller Peugeot badge). I also gave it a good t-cut and wax. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/French%20shed/cleanfront.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/French%20shed/cleanside.jpg I also got a proper holder for the boost gauge: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/French%20shed/gaugepod1.jpg I've also removed my silly stickerbombed dashboard and put the walnut effect one back in. My next plan? Get the backbox hollowed out. I know somebody who is willing to do it. I've met somebody from the 306 forums who lives just a few miles away, hung out with him a few times and he says he has a welder and stuff and he's done backboxes on his own cars a few times. Soon I shall have MOAR TURBO WHISTLE!
  2. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/newshoes.jpg Was going to buy some more flat skater shoes, then saw these. Karrimor chunky trainer things, on sale at £20 and will probably last forever, really comfy too. I like the black and red colour scheme too. ;) I've also got one of these on order as an upgrade for my contract with Vodafone: Sony Ericsson Elm. It seems to basically be an evolution of my C510. Higher resolution camera, longer battery life etc. etc. It also has built-in GPS though and it's made of recycled materials (hence the name Elm, as it's apparently an eco friendly phone...) EDIT: At the weekend I bought a tie with a skull & crossbone pattern on it too. So awesome, will look good with my purple shirt. :D
  3. You consider those cars when you have a 'small' budget? What planet do you live on? I want to move there. Sucks about the old M3 convertible though, but what did we all learn from that experience? Manual transmission FTW! :p
  4. Really? I haven't noticed much of a change.... :oook:
  5. If they're working on the console version of the patch for this long, maybe they've fixed the bugs... ...or created exciting new ones!
  6. How many days left then, Diablo?
  7. Rename it to TDuck, as in Turbo Duck. Sorted.
  8. I'm just curious as to what the countdown is for.
  9. Goat Central Goat Washing Central Duck Central
  10. I agree with Ryzza and Diablo, just look at my signature. :cheeky:
  11. Show me proof the devs haven't already abandoned it. :cheeky:
  12. I see this game as abandonware now. Any updates will simply be a pleasant surprise, but I hold no hope for anything ever happening... ...bring on the modders!
  13. Hmm, what the hell? Went there today and the timer is still there, but a bit broken. EDIT: It's working again, and counting for mid-day...
  14. Back on topic please... A true classic. "Those who are about to die, we salute you!" Still gives me goosebumps, such an awesome old game.
  15. Forgive my ignorance, but what's an SSX?
  16. Well, is it? I worked out that the timer there will run out at 10am tomorrow UK time. Can't wait! :D

I see one thing wrong with it. The auto 'box. :cheeky: (No, seriously, yuk!)

I have a boot spoiler from a 306 in the scrap yard ready go on. I was just about to go outside and stick it on with some sealant, and it started raining. Grr.

Interesting idea, but I didn't want them to stand out too much. I was successful at the scrap yard yesterday. Finally got the correct banjo bolt for the fuel supply fitting on the fuel pump. The one I bodged together when I fitted the pump was limiting the throttle arm's travel a little bit. This meant I was probably only getting about 85-90% throttle. With the proper banjo bolt fitted, ho-lee crap! It's opened right up again, revs much more freely and is boosting much stronger. Next project, mount my boost gauge on top of the steering column. I had it in the vent but moved it down to the centre console in front of the gear stick. Needless to say I can't really look at it down there. I've found a nice gauge holder for a flat surface on ebay. It would go nicely just right of centre on top of the steering column. If I mounted it to the right it would just obscure the unused bit at the bottom of the rev counter.
  20. I had a bad day last Monday, I quit my job. Just over a week and I'm soooooooooooo bored already! Don't worry, I'm looking for another job, have been for a while before I quit Halfords actually.
