I am in awe to see what @Penfold is up to these days and who he is working for but my gosh has he earned it. And it was obvious that his talent was going to take him places. Even if that ticket was bought by himself. :p This piece by Top Gear is all about how a squadron of super-rare McLaren cars were taken on tour by their private owners. Plenty of shots of the F1 in various guises available to view along with a few of the modern-day P1 too. The images are what make the whole thing, so many excellent shots.
In total, there were 69 ‘standard’ road cars (five of which were prototypes), 28 race cars (some of which have since been made road legal), three F1 GTs (the stunning road-legal ‘Longtail’), and five F1 LMs (those Papaya Orange road-racers built in honour of the five F1 GTRs that finished the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans). A selection of which recently got together for a private owners’ tour. There was one modern McLaren that joined the party, mind. One that’s already set to be a future classic: the junior offspring of the F1 LM, the mighty P1 LM.
I just wish there was some video too! Here's an old vs. new with an extra thrown in, I have another wing to go on the driver's side, but didn't have enough time for that today.

Inside of old wing once removed:

Need to have another go at getting the wing a bit more flush with the door, but it's on and will have to do for now.

TimBud reacted to Eudemon in GTA Online is 4 Years Old - Rockstar giving $400K to players who log in
The love it or hate it GTA Online reaches - in active video game terms - the good old age of 4 this month and to celebrate this achievement Rockstar will be giving a generous $400,000 of in-game cash to players who log in from yesterday through to November 6th. And as this also falls at the same time as Halloween, the game will have plenty of spooky cosmetic extras to kit your character(s) out with, along with a new vehicle, adversary mode, bonuses and lots of discounts to take advantage of!

Note: These don't all have the same times of availability, therefore check you get what you want before time runs out.

This game just keeps on giving!

I don't see a problem with people being critical of the game and/or the direction they fear it's heading. I also understand that those playing and enjoying will feel a right to defend, but you have to realise that a lot of these criticisms being directed are valid. Just because you have no problems launching and running the game doesn't mean that those saying 'they are' are lying. It's all over the web, you can read plenty of these examples and Turn 10 have acknowledged that this is happening too and are working on fixing it.

As for the bringing up of content with an aim to only attack the game, that's a bit juvenile and should not be done. Glitches are in every game, some are rarely ever discovered or seen whereas others, like some of the above, should have been spotted and squashed before release. Like @TimBud above says, they can provide some comedy moments too but they need to be more of the non-impacting variety to do that.

At the heart of it all, as long as the game provides a decent racing experience and has enough of that which came before to keep those who enjoy that aspect happy, then the series will always do well. However, it is good to see that players are wising up to the whole thing and not being afraid to voice their discontent at the changes being brought into the series and its issues.

Commenters who haven't even played the game in question and who use only written word and other media to somehow help validate their opinion more so than those who actually do, will be looked upon lesser and rightfully so. In saying that, this doesn't mean that the player themself is completely right either as opinion is after all, subjective. But, find someone with similar interests and a play style like yourself and getting an idea of what awaits can be made clearer.

In the end it comes down to how the game appeals, works, and plays for you. And if all those are good then that's all that matters really. No?

I don't understand this logic, surely if you're a forza fan you'd want the game to get better. You may not have problems playing the game but many people do, you're not gonna get anywhere by just ignoring them. If everyone just overlooked this shambles of a release like you are, turn10 wouldn't even need to respect its customers since they play whatever's being thrown down their throats. You need to be a fool not to see the immense backlash of the community not with fh2 not with fm6 not with fh3 but this game.
I honestly don't even wanna play the game anymore since it crashes so often after the latest update, I've already wasted at least an hour or two just on lost progress.

Hahaha.
I remember the golden days when the glitches of TDU were treasured, enjoyed and exploited for fun.
Not one person criticised them, we just looked forward to hanging out and laughing about them... I have some great memories hanging out with some of us old timers here in our F1 GTR's dangling off the edge of Maui. Driving around underneath the water.
And I'll never forget the good old flying glitch

Look what you've become since playing "modern" racing games. You all expect perfection and relish in picking up on minor flaws. For shame.

Still not getting Forza 7, not because of its flaws but simply because it looks too boring.

no I have a problem with devs not people who pay the money. Not only they're whoring out the franchise with a new game every year, they got so greedy to the point where it started to hurt the brand. with this much resources the game could be a lot better. I guess thank god we have people defending the game till death rite?

Now, allow me to disagree. To me, in racing, you actually need to change your tires to rain compound when it starts to rain. And back it to dry, once the rain is done. That has a big role on a racing matter. And anyone who actually played on a competition level above offline races against AI knows that. Specially on games that have dynamic weather.

Second, a game today is more than just racing, if you only cared about racing, why are you playing Forza at all? If racing is the only thing that matters for you in a racing game, i'd suggest to get iRacing, rFactor or Assetto Corsa.

Third, there are countless negative reviews about this game, also a lot of complains about it's own fanbase, which Turn 10 themselves recognized it.

And forth, there are countless reviews about the game, which i have watched, if you really think that playing the game would completelly change what someone thinks about a game, you're completelly wrong. I had an opinion about Forza 6 before play it, and it remained the same after i played it. (Actually, it got worse for Forza 6 after i played it, but that's other subject)

But, again, to focus the argument back to it's topic, this thread is not about Forza being a bad game, it's about it being worse than Forza 6. Many problems that Forza 7 do have, which you don't need to look much deep to find, were unexistent in Forza 6. If you could name, exactly where Forza 7 is better than Forza 6, please do so. Other than having dynamic weather, i can't see where it is.

Edit: And on a more personal level about the bugs. The bugs themselves are not what the major problem, the major problem is the lack of care. Those mistakes shown in the videos are simple things, that could be easily fixed in less than 5 minutes, and yet they seem to not care at all. And i think that's really wrong thing to do, if you're a developer as huge as Turn 10.

the game is actually alright now that I get to play it even after my refund :D
It now makes sense as a free 2 play game, I like the slower progression. I always thought forza needed that. Career mode is pretty much the same though, no improvements there same with multiplayer lobbies, in fact if anything it's a downgrade from fh3 where you could customize the events. I really hate the fact that I have to race in SUVs and trucks in order to progress.
As for the graphics, they are definitely a downgrade, it's more apparent in 4k, all of the textures are blatantly resized, details have been removed and still has the same problem of cars having too much detail and rest of the world having non. I guess they should've worked on that instead of adding fireworks into circuits that everyone hates. The prize crates/mods situation is pretty ugly, but then again I can't complain since the game was free for me.
But those are the only things that annoy me, I'd say this game is noooooooooooooooooooooooo way worth $60, since it is just an fm6 expansion pack. I guess the ball don't lie

I understand you might think others are being 'haters' and wanting to overly punish vettel for his behaviour, and you're probably right to some extent but you're also being too forgiving at the same time.

Max, Kimi & Alonso are huge fan favourites, tens/hundreds of thousands of SGD will have been spent by spectators in the stands wanting to see them race. Vettel's aggression/ego got in the way of that and they won't be getting that money back.

If this was an isolated incident then I'd be more willing to just drop it but it isn't, and it won't be the last incident because he got away with it. Labeling this as a racing incident sets a dangerous precedent.

This is how I see it. It doesn't matter that Vettel wasn't aware of where the others were, it was still his actions that caused the whole mess.

Reading Ferrari's twitter is hilarious at the moment.

Whether you're a fanboy or not victory was handed to Hamilton and sadly the fans got robbed of what should have been a completely different race.
Even sadder is that Verstappen lost out too... Every decent F1 driver knows how tight the start is and there was some desperate manoeuvres off the line.

Such a shame for Alonso agin

 Oh dear.

I'm not asking for either Ferrari driver to be whipped in public or banned from a race, but surely you've seen people get punished for much less? :fp:

Causing a collision is enough for a punishment for any other team than Ferrari. The Ferraris caused that collision did they not? Max was an innocent dutchman in a Ferrari sandwich.

You're the one bringing up haters and fanboys here, can you not see how hilarious that is given the situation? Vettel ended his own race, Max's race, Raikkonen's race & Alonso's race. But nah, racing incident isn't it. I can see why some would split the blame between Vettel and Kimi but splitting the blame does not mean they're innocent. If I were max or Alonso i'd be asking questions as to the credibility of the FIA and the rest of the sport at the moment tbh.

[HEADLINE]Gear.Club Unlimited[/HEADLINE]
Eden Games have been enjoying the success of their mobile racing game Gear.Club for a good while, but now the former V-Rally, NFS Porsche Unleashed and Test Drive Unlimited developers are dipping their toes back into console waters by bringing Gear.Club Unlimited (catchy name!) to the Nintendo Switch. This will be the first racing game on the Switch and so it certainly has a great chance of being popular with owners who are ready to partake in some racing action on the system.

The latter thing is indiscriminate, not calling foul play againt HAM, I just think it underlines what a joke F1 is at the moment. Brundle has been complaining about these unnecessary penalties for a while now.
