    I test-drove one a few months before my parents bought theirs. It drives a lot better in regards to the dry clutch DSG, glad to see they've sorted that out. Much lighter/more responsive accelerator pedal. The Mk7 is much more value for money in regards to the equipment you get, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few places where money has been saved (although I think the new unifying MQB architecture accounts for this somewhat as well). I like the auto-hold feature but the electronic parking brake may take some getting used to. It costs money to upgrade to a new car, and I'd be losing more than what I stood to gain, which is why I'm waiting for the GTI/R to land here. The basics that come to mind are performance (supercharger + APR Stage 1), leather seats, larger touch screen head unit + 30GB HDD and DVD player, sports steering wheel with paddles, sports pedals, and so on.

    There was some great racing amongst the chaos of first race jitters. After an hour of racing I'm pretty spent though. Since the car votes were so close I'm thinking of doing the first 6 races in the Gumpert then the last 6 races in the Jag (but it's still one championship). Thoughts?

    Falcons may be cool but not that one. It's on LPG so it's very lazy revving (slow) considering its a 4.0L 6 cyl. You just like it because there aren't [m]any in Europe xD They've already sold it and purchased a Mk7 Golf :p

    I'm going to practice now Also there's a large update so make sure you get Steam to download it before the race. Also recommended to delete your profile in Documents\CARS & reconfigure your controls as there is a new FFB tweaker file in this build

    Nice lap. But do you really want to start the first race off in first position with ~10 cars behind you on cold tyres? :p What setup changes did you make? The car looked stable but you kept locking your brakes, so I wonder if your tyres will last the race without slowing you down. Also funny how BuToNz got the exact same record as you. I'll do some practice laps later today but I'm not too interested in my record. In the GT5 league I always was 2-5 seconds slower than most of the others during practice laps, but when it comes to racing I was competitive enough, and finished the championship in 2nd. Hopefully Ozz or CrashFreak500 don't take my car out and hopefully I'll be fine. Can't wait for the race though :excited:
