  1. hmmph, I got there and saw the one from 3 hours ago, figured I should install an auto-refresh add-in and then found a new code which someone beat me to. Not that it matters since I'm over FH already since there's such a low focus on cruising.
  2. Any old Golf might be, but I don't think my almost fully spec'd one is. If that's what we're talking about. I have a chronometer in the dashboard computer for crying out loud.

I think my first car had a choke too - was a 1985 Ford Telstar Ghia 2.0L 5spd manual. Wasn't properly my car (got it when I was neatly 16 to learn in, but wasn't registered in my name obviously). Ended up with too many cars so we decided to get rid of it and I learnt in our Mitsubishi Starwagon (8 seat van) 5spd manual.

  5. Went to a performance shop the other day asking about a downpipe but was told they only really help with down-low torque, which might not be of much benefit to me due to supercharger - not sure how true that is. He did however say a better itnercooler would help more, which I already have (from Audi S3) but just haven't got it installed yet. Friend who's promised to help has been busy & and on many holidays  Once I get it installed I'll find a dyno.
  6. Not sure about the 'nice' bit and do they also get 6.5L/100km? I know the RX8 is very thirsty as my boss used to own one; before that he had a Honda Prelude and a MX5. Now he's all grown up (supposedly) with child and driving a Mazda CX7.
  7. hmmm, I might have to come up with a car related theme next time :hmmm:
  8. Show me a nice car as quick as mine with a petrol engine as small as mine :) *waits for 3 people to come up with clever answers*
  9. You sure that's not just an iPhone thing? I was able to use my new S3 ok before the service was switched to the new micro SIM. Different country/carrier though.
  10. Don't they have BYO plans? Otherwise get a plan with data (they all have them these days) and enjoy the freedom.
  11. You don't need data, you'd just be missing out on 60% of what makes these smartphones great. You can always use your home WiFi to get apps, etc.
  12. Game designers don't usually cater for laptops, and TDU1 was especially bad on them. You can try deleting the newspapers flying around in cities but you're just not going to get a good experience unless you get a proper PC. There's no setting for turning off reflections.
  13. It's easier to play Air Control on the tablet compared to the phone.
  14. You might not be able to avoid this, but I wouldn't recommend getting a phone designed to run Android 2, and then updating to version 4.0 since it's a little slower. Of course, if you updated straight away you'd have no baseline to compare to so you'd be fine, but check the CPU and RAM specs. It's not really that slow, until you use the new S3 you probably wouldn't notice. Posted from my phone using Swype.
  15. Not happy, I so would've made that last lap but he pitted by himself and went from 5th to last. :fuming: Someone else can get the new screenshots since I'm still annoyed
  16. Oh poop, forgot what day it was - I haven't done any practices or setup changes or strategy config. :fp: I better make use of one of my free Live viewer trials today.

Yes yes, we know already; you're a stupid. :cheeky:
  18. S2 and S3 are great phones if you an stretch. Nexus didn't have a micro SD card slot for extra storage which was a downside for me. Try to get something with the latest version of Android already installed (Jelly Bean) and lots of RAM will keep the phone super fast once you discover the app store. Also if there's something about the phone software you don't like, odds are you can fix it with an app. e.g., don't like how the phone only vibrates once or twice when the phone rings?, there's a free app that lets you customise the vibrator by typing in .'s and -'s 4G/LTE provides the fastest Internet speeds, although the infrastructure is still rolling out, and using it on your phone drains the battery faster. It is noticeably faster though, if you're into browsing the web or downloading songs/videos, etc on your phone. I don't know much about the other brands but I'd recommend the Galaxy 2 LTE. The S2 battery wasn't great to start off with so I'm not sure if the LTE version has a better battery to compensate. You'll probably get 1.5 days from a charge but I charge mine overnight each day anyway just to be safe. Also find a shop that has the phones on display, I've found the Samsung TouchWiz interface on the Galaxy line a LOT better than some smaller/cheaper Android phones.
  19. Looking forward to it. Offroad wasn't completely useless. Difficult but a good challenge.
  20. Haha nice, I didn't like that original video since it was out of sync and the large iPad conveniently went out of frame as the song got more complicated, so I doubt the audio was produced on the iPad. 15 min Best FAILS / WINS 2012 - YouTube
  21. Congrats, about time you could insure a decent car for less than it's value. :)
