  1. Probably because they're in the middle of a race of sorts at the time ;)
  2. The registy key that stores the information as to where the game is installed may not exist or be incorrect. 32-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Atari\TDU 64-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Atari\TDU Check the 'install path' key.
  3. If you use 5.1 surround sound, mute the Center channel and you won't hear the speach before races ;) A decent write-up nonetheless.
  4. FTR, when I edit a post, if it uses 'preview' mode to begin with, the A button is there to switch, but if it begins with the normal full editor the A button usually isn't there. Never thought much of it tbh.
  5. Sohodolls eh? When I first heard it I thought she sounded like Kylie Minogue a bit, although I wasn't really expecting any *famous* performers :p Deadmau5 is win too - I ripped that song from NFS Shift (better version) and put it in my car.
  6. You haz posted an image over 350kb too
  7. I believe the current order of events on the To-Do list is something a bit like: 1. Fix server issues, logon issues, save-file corruption issues. 2. Send out the prizes to the winners of the superfan contest. 3. Fix "frequently reported bugs" 4. Fix force-feedback and work on handling improvements 5. Fix other bugs, frequently requested features? The work they do for PC is usually a revelation of what the console players can look forward to, since the PC version can be patched at any time, without 3rd-party approval required, which causes delays.
  8. imo, what would look even better was if you had a small clear (invisible) plastic shelf which allowed you to stack the games in their verticle position (i.e. like a bookshelf). The shelf wouldn't come out from the wall as far as the games - just enough to keep the games stable, and keep the shelf hidden.
  9. Chatbox message is here for those who missed it (emphasis added):
  10. The 608mb patch was released back in December 2010 - Google it if you forgot ;)
  11. It was released on 17 Feb 2011 at 5:38pm as per the bottom-right of the launcher. ;)
  12. Not sure what year this car is tbh
  13. Maybe Monday's patch will remove this glitch for the 360.
  14. Hopefully no-one here affected by it too much. I wonder which country is next in line for a massive natural disaster (I'm guessing it won't take too long to find out at this rate). Also, be careful if searching the net on this subject, as it could lead to malware. Article.
  15. So is it on tomorrow or on the 15th of March? You also neglected to mention the platform, which I assume is PC ;) I'll be asleep then so I won't be there.
  16. lol - looks pretty weird/creepy (floating). More shelves next to it with smaller piles will probably look better though :)
  17. I don't think "they" had much of a choice tbh.
  18. Come again? :susp:
  19. A lot of the fans had been playing the Beta since October last year, and we probably had expectations that they'd get through more of the feedback before launch. I'm sure once they sort out the server issues the attention will turn back to handling and feedback. By the time I've finished Shift 2, Dirt 3, and GT5, I reckon TDU2 will be much better (sure it's a while but as long as they get there this year I'll be happy).
  20. Thanks Diastro :cactus:
  21. I think it's still "shipped", or 'posted', or 'sent' :)
  22. The email was to Nour - since she handled the 'Name a track' contest legal forms. Not sure what you mean by 'responded' as I haven't received any emails (unless you meant the chatbox message).
