  1. She says mph for me as well (I use metric dials). I guess it's more a figure of speech - like a 'gazillion dollars'
  2. Anyone can make TG videos if they want - the idea has been around for years. Iced_Bullet was going to do the 3 supercars to that bridge in France movie (don't ask me how O'ahu and France are alike) all the way back in 2008 but that never came to fruition. I think he had a trailer though :)
  3. Some events seem very easy to complete with jumps and near misses - but there were a couple on twisty roads that would hardly go up unless you pulled off power slides (not too easy with the current physics). One east of of O'ahu near a waterfall was particularly tricky, but my strategy was to turn around at the start, and at the corner just after the new tunnel, I would go off to the right and get massive air off a slope which was usually good for ~30-50 points.
  4. Maybe that's what they want you to think :oook:
  5. I don't enjoy driving in TDU2 for these reasons mainly: 1. Too much grip/downforce to drift/slide. 2. Sense of speed isn't great - especially when offroad. (Doing 120kph offroad should feel pretty fast, but it's more of a trundle). 3. Lack of force-feedback - big downer at. 4. Inability to log in for the past few days at various times of the day. 5. Engine sounds.
  6. Hardly anyone chases me when I decide to ram a cop - so it's back to the AI again - which is a good chase - just a few too many cops. I did the roundabout chase in the Beta as well once - it was quite funny - just don't do it right after you've had a large meal ;)
  7. Nice - didn't know about that bug (hopefully that's one bug they don't fix :)
  8. erm what? I'm probably not on your wavelength, but the airport doesn't register as a road, so you can't jump/warp to it.
  9. I usually jump in at the south-eastern corner of the runway.
  10. Welcome (if Scoob hasn't scared you away) :)
  11. Someone hinted in the CB that you can do chases in Free Ride mode, but I couldn't find any info to support that (PC). Anyone know?
  12. I think you're being sarcastic ;) :cheeky:
  13. I think he means that car is small ;)
  14. This thread is a year and one day old... :dontcare: (in Australia anyway)
  15. Does "rule-obeying" mean there will also be police cars to chase everyone?
  16. Or as I call them, Suzuki Not-so-Swift's :p
  17. Well TDU2 was announced in early March 2010 with no hard-set date, and that only took 11 months - so I'm sure this DLC will be released ssssssssssssss... ah forget it
  18. I only wish I had a G27 for the smoother belt drive and extra wheel buttons for TDU2 indicators - otherwise I'm more tempted by the compatibility of the Fanatec GT2 and the rave reviews of the latest Thustmaster wheel. I've told myself to wait for the next batch of hardcore wheels before upgrading though.
  19. Nice. When my G25 shifter had that issues (it was the 2, 4, 6th gears for me), I just fixed it myself G25 - issues with H Shifter - Forums Atari Europe (Scroll down for pics) [+] pics added here
  20. Excellent shots, and a few just scraping under the 350kb limit too :p
  21. I played GT5 for the first time in a month (btw I now have more credits than you, Jazzi :nnnn:) and completely forgot what it was like to have good force feedback. So I'm going to agree with the OP. TDU isn't a sim, but the next-best thing to driving in real life is a good sim based on an open world. TDU2 is still a WIP title if I'm hurtfully honest to myself. If dreams were reality, what would we dream about? :p
